However, his performance in this series and Tae-joong is truly phenomenal. The manner in which Ji Chang-wook navigates through the struggles that Tae-joong faces truly deserves to be appreciated.

On the other hand, bringing more and more complications in Tae-joong’s life, Doh Kyung-soo’s An Yohan is also stealing the show with his wicked activities. Depicting the villainous attributes of An Yohan’s character is definitely not an easy task. However, Doh Kyung-soo is perfectly handling the layered character of An Yohan in a distinct manner.

In episode eight of The Manipulated, Yohan has set the stage for Tae-joong to follow Baek Do-kyoung. He does so because Do-kyoung and his father threaten him to fix the issue with Tae-joong. They do not want Tae-joong to create any more problems, as he is the one he framed for the murder he committed. So, in the upcoming episodes of the series, Do-kyoung’s presence will be crucial.

Kim Jong-soo’s Yong-shik brings forth a level of comfort in Tae-joong’s life. After escaping from the race, Tae-joong goes directly to Yong-shik. Yong-shik, despite knowing the danger that could come because of Tae-joong, helped him. He even offered him money so that he could unfold the mystery surrounding the murder case.

Jo Yoon-su’s presence as Eunbi in the eighth episode of The Manipulated indicates she will have a crucial role in the upcoming storylines. While the investigators arrived at her father’s shop, she wittily made them leave. Eunbi also took Hyeonjeong to her home to give her the protection that she needed.

In episode eight of The Manipulated, both Tae-joong and Yohan are facing certain setbacks in their plans. Tae-joong definitely is progressing at a steady pace towards his goal to find out the truth. At the end of this episode, he goes back to the workplace where Yohan's employees work on the cases. The scene in front of him when he reaches there completely shocks him. All the employees were brutally murdered.

So, he could not get any answers. Yohan set up another plan for Tae-joong to follow. He revealed the true identity of the culprit and even gave him a hint to follow. On the other hand, Yo-han is facing the pressure of the situation from his clients. He understands that now his whole operation could fail. So, the stage is all set for the intense developments that are about to happen in the new episodes.
