The Marlow Murder Club Season 2 has begun airing and the first episode of the British mystery thriller series has already enthralled the viewers with a new murder in town and the many secrets that lie hidden behind it.
Starring Samantha Bond as Judith Potts, Jo Martin as Suzie Harris, and Cara Horgan as Becks Starling, The Marlow Murder Club Season 2 continues the story of the three female leads, as they come across various mysteries in their small town of Marlow and take it upon themselves to solve the case.
Based on the novel series of the same name by Robert Thorogood, The Marlow Murder Club Season 2 is packed with a lot of suspense, thrills, surprising twists, and a good, old-fashioned murder mystery. In the inaugural episode of The Marlow Murder Club Season 2, Sir Peter enlists the help of Judith as he fears that something bad will happen at the party he has hosted the day before his wedding. Unfortunately, a loud crash is heard and Peter is found dead underneath a bookcase.
As others maintain that it was an accident, Judith, Suzie, and Becks, believe that it was foul play and begin to investigate Peter Bailey’s family. Secrets soon come out as Peter has recently made a new will and had strained relations with his son Tristam and daughter Rosanna.
On the other hand, Tristam also meets a mysterious woman and Judith and police officer Tanika Malik decide to meet and discuss the case of Sir Peter’s mysterious death.

The official description on PBS’s website states that in The Marlow Murder Club Episode 2, “The pressure to unravel the mystery surrounding Sir Peter’s death intensifies. Meanwhile, Judith’s intrigue about a set of coded crossword puzzles sends her on a journey that could very well give her the inspiration and tools to unravel the whole mystery. But Judith, Becks and Suzie will have to act fast, because as relationships within the Bailey family worsen, Sir Peter might not be the only target.”
Therefore, the next episode of the show will be even more interesting as the Bailey family is under threat from an unknown assailant and Judith and her friends must race against time to stop the family from any harm.
