The Masked Singer Season 14: Google Eyes' identity revealed after judges' guesses

The first episode featured brand-new masked characters. Some of them also delivered their first performances. There were five head-to-head battles featured in The Masked Singer Season 14 Episode 1. This included:

• Galaxy Girl vs. Handyman,
• Pugcasso vs. Queen Corgi,
• Scarab vs. The Croissants,
• Snowcone vs. Stingray,
• Googly Eyes vs. Cat Witch.

Participants, including Cat Witch, Galaxy Girl, Queen Corgi, Scarab, and Stingray, secured their spot for the next episode. The remaining six participants, who received the lowest number of votes, were headed towards elimination.

Googly Eyes was the first one to be unmasked. Soon, everyone learned that it was David Ortiz, aka Big Papi. The second elimination of the night was The Croissants. However, before their identity was revealed, the episode ended on a cliffhanger.

Googly Eyes' costume was the tallest one. He sang Lil Jon's Turn Down For What. One of the judges, Ken Jeong, guessed that it might be athlete David "Big Papi" Ortiz. Robin Thicke's guess was Daddy Yankee. Rita Ora shared that she didn't know much about baseball. She asked Googly Eyes to share more about Baseball rules. But, he responded with a "no." Based on that, she guessed Wesley Snipes.

After Cat Witch won the head-to-head battle against Googly Eyes, he was up for the upcoming elimination. Along with him, Queen Corgi, Handyman, The Croissants, and Snow Cone also lost during head-to-head battles. Later, there was a second round of voting from the audience. Googly Eyes was the first one up for unmasking.

The Masked Singer judges' final guesses were interesting. Ken Jeong's guess was the same as earlier, David "Big Papi" Ortiz. Robin Thicke said Pedro Martinez from the Red Sox. Jenny McCarthy guessed Derek Jeter, while Rita Ora also guessed one of the Red Sox stars, Manny Ramirez.

As for The Croissants, the judges' final guesses were:

• Ken Jeong guessed Tim McGraw and Faith Hill,
• Robin Thicke guessed Snooki and Mike Sorrentino from Jersey Shore,
• Jenny McCarthy guessed Todd and Julie Chrisley, former reality TV stars,
• Rita Ora guessed Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag.

While Googley Eyes' identity was revealed, everyone but Ken Jeong was surprised. But before The Croissants' identity was revealed, The Masked Singer episode ended on a cliffhanger.
