That hidden truth starts to come back after she hears that Alex, played by Aniston, might take action. We also see a bond between Alex and her father, with him giving advice on how to fight back, leading her to finally act.

And from there, viewers see that everything Celine tried to keep under control slowly starts slipping away.

On the other hand, everything flips for Celine once Cory finds proof in his mother, Martha Ellison’s files, that Celine used her to hide the truth about the Wolf River. He soon realized that the job wasn't his by merit alone, and that truth hit him, which eventually pushed him to finally run to Alex and warn her.

After Alex Levy begins her press talk, which was intended to announce and reveal her legal move against Celine, it quickly goes live everywhere, including on The Morning Show, leading viewers to see it in real time.

In the middle of this, Celine calls Cory to stop Alex, not knowing the phone is on speaker. Interestingly, her words go straight into the mic, and viewers hear the threat at the same moment Alex does. Minutes later, the board fires her with no warning.
