Inspired by Brian Stelter's non-fiction book Top of the Morning, the show delves into the behind-the-scenes realities of broadcast news. From the #MeToo movement to the pandemic to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the show merges current events and political topics.
Similar to previous seasons, The Morning Show Season 4 will have 10 episodes in total. Season 4 will wrap up with its finale on November 19, 2025.

The Morning Show Season 4 trailer was released on August 20, 2025. Season 3 ended on a cliffhanger with Alex and Bradley charting new paths. Season 4 trailer teases Reese Witherspoon's Bradley and Jennifer Aniston's Alex navigating the freshly merged UBN network, a reset that promises 'a different company, a different culture'.
Season 4 will take a two-year leap and follow both Alex Levy and Bradley Jackson as they navigate through the UBA-NBN merger.
In the trailer, we see Bradley telling herself as she looks at the UBN logo,
"I am a firm believer in second chances. Maybe this is the opportunity to make it right."
On the other hand, we see Alex ready to lead, but she faces numerous hurdles. Paul Marks is also back, raising tensions. On the other hand, Bradley investigates a chemical plant leak cover-up and asks Chip to help her (which may cause trouble for Alex). Tensions between Cory and Stella and Alex and Mia remain constant. The trailer features Mia calling out Alex,
"I know what I deserve, and it is my time now."
The trailer ends with Mia Jordon delivering a fiery line about the truth being under attack, setting the tone for the season centered on trust, power, and the future of journalism.
