The teaser for The Morning Show season 4 has revealed quite a few things. The Apple TV drama following the happenings of season 3 will return for season 4 on September 17, 2025.
Despite Paul's attempt to ruin UBA's reputation and buy it, Alex (played by Jennifer Aniston) saved the day by suggesting an alternate plan. Her alternate plan was merging with NBN, and that's what finally happened.
Season 4 of The Morning Show will feature all the problems that come with a merger. As Cory Ellison says in the teaser,
"It sounds like the drama at the network is juicer than the drama on the network."
The tensions expected in The Morning Show season 4
A merger has never been a smooth process for any company. There are bound to be problems, which is the case for The Morning Show as UBA merges with NBN. Since season 4 of the show will pick up after the events of season 3, we will get to see the TMS team and UBA deal with this massive change.
It might be a new season, but the main responsibility for the show remains the same. As Jennifer Aniston's Alexandra Levy points out in the teaser:
"We have to question everything that we see and hear, now more than ever."
The teaser features voice monologues of Bradley (played by Reese Witherspoon) and Alex as they walk past a reflective wall. The teaser also features short voice monologues by other characters, which hint at what each character will bring to the season. To start, Bradley says,
"We have to stay together in this."
She is most likely referencing her current uncertain life and career, as in season 3, she had turned herself in to the FBI. Her crime was that she had hidden evidence of her brother being involved in the January 6 insurrection. Bradley also says,
"I have to do what's best for the network."
This could be a hint at Bradley needing to take difficult decisions, possibly personal ones, to ensure the network puts out accurate news and has a good reputation. The teaser also revealed Charlie "Chip" Black, executive producer of TMS, saying,
"I need some dirt. Something I can trade."
While we don't know the context of this statement yet, it seems tensions will unfurl at TMS, and Chip will need some incriminating information that he can exchange for something that he needs. It also seems like office corruption is continuing as a theme in The Morning Show when Cory Ellison, UBA's CEO, says,
"It's always nice when you can get someone else to do your dirty work for you, right?"
We also get warned about the events of season 4 when Brodie (played by Boyd Holbrook), a podcaster who will be introduced in the new season, says,
"This place isn't warm and fuzzy, it's a snake pit."
Marion Cotillard joins the show as Celine Dumont in season 4, and while we don't know much about her, we can tell she's clever and will contribute to the tensions in the upcoming season when she says,
"I like to know who's an ally and who's a liability."
The Morning Show season 4 will be released on Apple TV+ on September 17, 2025.
