XO, Kitty, the Netflix romantic comedy drama, which is a spin-off of the To All the Boys film series, was renewed for a third season in February 2025. The show, written by Jenny Han (who also wrote the original film series), follows Kitty (Katherine Song Covey) as she travels to Seoul, South Korea, to reunite with her true love, Dae.
As Deadline reports, Sule Thelwell, Soy Kim, and Christine Hwang have been cast in XO, Kitty season three.
XO Kitty, season three, new cast
We first saw Kitty in To All the Boys I've Loved Before in 2018. She played Lara Jean Covey's (played by Lana Condor) little sister, who sent out the five love letters Lara Jean had written to her five crushes but never sent.
While in the first film, Kitty helped Lara Jean find love after the film series was complete, in XO, Kitty, she moved to Seoul to be with the boy she met on a family trip there. She joined the Korean Independent School of Seoul, the same school her mother had attended, and Dae currently attends.
As the show progressed, Kitty's character and friendships developed as well. We see her journey in the new school, among new people, who soon become familiar. The show has just wrapped production, and as Deadline reports, the show has also cast three new actors in season three.
Suke Thelwel is playing Marius in the main role. Soy Kim and Christine Hwang are playing Yisoo and Gigi, respectively, in recurring roles. The show is also upgrading Hojo Shin, who played Jiwon in season two in a recurring role, to a main role for season three.
Besides, Jessica O’Toole, who served as the showrunner in seasons one and two, will no longer be continuing in that role. The show has a new showrunner for season three, Valentina Garza.
The show also stars Anna Cathcart as Katherine Song-Covey, Gia Kim as Yuri Han, Sang Heon Lee as Min-ho Moon, Choi Min-young as Dae-heon, and Anthony Keyvan as Quincy Shabazian in lead roles. Other main roles include Peter Thurnwald as Professor Alex Finnerty Lee, Regan Aliyah as Juliana Porter, Philippe Lee as Young Moon, and Audrey Huynh as Esther Shim / Stella Cho.

The recurring cast includes Joshua Lee as Jin, Sasha Bhasin as Praveena, Michael K. Lee as Professor Lee, Jocelyn Shelfo as Madison, Ryu Han-bi as Eunice, and Sunny Oh as Mihee.
Season two of XO, Kitty ended with Kitty and Min Ho having a hopeful outlook for their relationship. Kitty initially finds Min Ho to tell him she's returning to KISS and admits her feelings, but he surprises her by revealing his plans to go on a summer tour with his family. Kitty then asks to join them, and Min Ho nods in agreement, suggesting they'll spend the summer together figuring things out.
Thus, season three of XO, Kitty, will hopefully fix all the problems Kitt and Minho have faced regarding each other, and the two will hopefully figure things out.
The first two seasons of XO, Kitty are streaming on Netflix.
