JTBC's The Nice Guy Episode 11 dropped on August 22, 2025, along with Episode 12. The Nice Guy delves into the life of Park Seok-Cheol, an heir to a gangster family who dreams of becoming a writer instead of living a life of crime.
When he reunites with his first love, Kang Mi-young, a struggling singer with her own set of problems, their bond is sweet, but it pulls her into a dangerous world. Enter Kang Tae-hoon, an ambitious gangster who becomes Seok-cheol's rival and tries everything to woo Mi-young. Tae-hoon tries to emotionally manipulate Mi-young.
The last few episodes of The Nice Guy delivered some of the most emotional moments of the series. In the previous episode, we saw how Mi-yang's mother's condition deteriorates while Seok-cheol tries his best to come out of the gangster world. From the beginning of the show, we are aware that Seok-cheol doesn't want to lead a gangster's life, yet, due to certain circumstances, he's always plunged into it. On the other hand, Tae-hoon confesses his feelings for Mi-young and threatens her to leave Seok-cheol.
Seok-cheol's sister, Seok-hee, wants to restart her life, and she prepares to leave the country. Meanwhile, Seok-kyung, the family's troublemaker, finally finds a job as a hairdresser.

The Nice Guy Episode 11 recap: Mi-young breaks up with Seok-cheol
The Nice Guy Episode 11 starts with a heartbreaking note. Mi-young breaks up with Seok-cheol after being manipulated by Tae-hoon. At the park, she tells him:
"I want us to break up. I want us to be strangers to each other. It is not easy for me to say this. So just do as I am saying. I was so happy and excited to be your girlfriend. Just like when we first became lovers, I've loved you so much since we met again. But now, it's just because of me. My current situation is too much to handle want us to break up."
Mi-young apologizes and leaves, but Seok-cheol calls her back, assuring her that if she finds it too hard, she can come back to him. He ends the conversation with:
"I'll be waiting."
As they part ways, the show cuts to the sweet memories they spent together. By the time she runs back to the park, Seok-cheol has left and boarded a bus. Heartbroken, he begins to sob on the bus. Meanwhile, Dr. Jang argues with the hospital's director after he insults his relationship with Seok-hee. He stakes a firm stand for her. Later, he narrates the incident to her and confesses his love.
Seok-hee breaks down and confesses to Jang Ki-hong that she wants to drop her plan of studying in the U.S. The reason? She wants to pay off her family's debts:
"I'm not going. It's not that I don't want to. I can't. I am going to spend the money I've saved for my family. I'm going to pay off my family's debts."
Mi-young's mother dies, and Mi-young and Seok-chul reunite
When Mi-young reaches home, she gets an emergency phone call and hurries off. Turns out her mother's health is deteriorating. At the hospital, she's informed that her mother's condition is critical and is undergoing an emergency surgery. Unfortunately, Mi-young's mother died during the surgery. Before her death, she gets flashbacks of the moments she spent with her daughter. At the funeral, Seok-chul rushes in to comfort her. He pays his respect to Mi-young's mother. He hugs Mi-young, and she sobs her heart out.
Tae-hoon also attends the funeral and pays his respects to Mi-young's mother. He tells Seok-chul,
"Take good care of her."
Finally, Mi-young confesses that she broke up only to keep him safe,
"If I stayed with you, you'd always get hurt and sacrifice yourself. I hate that is happens every time, but there was nothing I could do. So I broke up with you. I honestly don't think I can be fine without you. Even now, I want to rely on you, and I want to cry in your arms."
As she breaks down, Seok-cheol hugs her and consoles her.
Sang-yeol plots against Chang-soo and orders his men to get Seok-hee
Meanwhile, Dr.Jang is skeptical about moving abroad without Seok-hee. In this episode of The Nice Guy, he tells her that she could tag along with him, but Seok-hee turns down the offer. On the other hand, Seok-hee gives her savings to Seok-kyung, telling her that it's a loan. She assures to repay it. We also get a glimpse of Seok-kyung with her son, enjoying an ice cream treat and filling a lottery ticket. However, their parents aren't too elated with Seok-hee's decision, as they know the truth.
On the other hand, Chang-soo meets Seok-cheol's father as they discuss the past and their regrets, Seok-cheol's father urges him to leave his pride behind to lead a peaceful life. When Seok-cheol's father learns about his resignation, he urges,
"Let him go on a good note."
Elsewhere, Seok-cheol calls Tae-hoon and tells him to meet him. He asks Tae-hoon not to woo Mi-young anymore, and he ends the conversation with,
"Let's go back to how things were."
Seok-cheol offers him to restore their friendship. However, things turn sour when Sang-yeol finds Chang-soo unconscious in the office, and learns he has a brain tumor, he seizes the opportunity. He orders to take Seok-chul back.
Seok-chul packs his bag, and when he leaves his home to join Mi-ypung for their trip, he encounters Sang-yeol's men, who ask him to come back. The episode leaves the viewers on an intense cliffhanger. Will Seok-chul fight back? Or will he adhere to Seong-yeol's orders? Stay tuned to find out.
