Breakdown of the events of The Nice Guy episode 2
The second episode of The Nice Guy begins where it left off in the first episode. Seok-cheol, Seok-hee, and their sister run off after the brawl. Seok-cheol thinks about his sister and about his family’s debt while driving.
As the episode progresses, we see a disinterested Seok-cheol in the meeting of his gang about the area they want. Here, Jin-ho's significance is mentioned in the gang. Seok-cheol decides to visit the area to make the tenants understand the situation. However, things do not go as he had planned.

Later, he visits the area and finds that the tenants and the gang members are brawling, and Kim Jin-ho throws gasoline on himself and threatens to kill himself if the gang members do not stop.
To prevent Jin-ho from dying so that he can freely leave the gang, he decides to stop him. A fight ensues between the two of them, and Seok-cheol uses his strength to overpower him and takes him to safety. Seok-cheol’s name appears on the paper because he saved the man.
This makes his father really proud. Though saving him means Seok-cheol is a step ahead to his goals of leaving the gang, his father’s debt makes his situation difficult.
At the end of episode 2 of The Nice Guy, we see Seok-cheol’s father arrive at the gang’s building with the thought of getting money for his debt; however, if he takes the money, Seok-cheol will have to repay the money and will not be able to leave the gang.
The Nice Guy episodes 1 and 2 set the tone for the rest of the series. There is humor and complex drama that leaves the viewers intrigued. In the later episodes, we might be getting more and more answers; till then, we will have to keep waiting.
