The Pitt Season 2 is among the most anticipated upcoming releases. Fans are desperate for every morsel of information they can get about the new season. There have been rumors about some big celebrity cameos that are set to appear on the show in Season 2. In a recent conversation with Variety, star and executive Noah Wyle puts these rumors to rest, revealing there is no such big celebrity cameo on the show.

The Pitt Season 1 was never the show that relied on big celebrity cameos. Instead, it had a fresh and real (dramatized) take on a reality about healthcare workers that went unseen and unheard far too often. So, it falls in line with what defines the show at its core, that Season 2 will be walking on similarly defined lines.

Wyle squashed any celebrity appearance rumors when he said:

"We’re not a really stunty show that way, but everybody that comes on is so great."

He went on to pay his dues to the casting director for The Pitt, Cathy Sandrich. Wyle explained that Cathy deserved the Emmy she won for casting on the show and that every single person she has brought on understood what they were walking into with the show and has hit the ground running.

"Cathy Sandrich won the Emmy for casting this year and rightly so. Everybody she’s brought onto our show has hit the ground running, and you know, it’s no longer a sort of speculative venture. Everybody that comes on knows what they’re coming on to, and they’ve all hit the ground running."

Wyle even went on to reveal details about The Pitt Season 2 and some of the things that will be explored in the upcoming season and how the stakes have been upped this season.

"What we’re proudest of is actually being able to dramatize what’s been happening in healthcare and it’s only going to get worse with these Medicare changes, rural hospitals closing and a lot of hospitals under tremendous amounts of pressure"

He went on to add:

"I think you have to stay out of the politics of it and just talk about the human stories because the reality is we tend to think about politics at 10,000 feet. The human stories, what’s actually happening to people, is really right in front of you. It’s very human, very emotional and very specific"

The Pitt Season 2 is set to premiere on January 8, almost a year after the first season's release.
