While her personal life remains a bit of an enigma, and everyone else on The Real Housewives of Potomac seems to think so, too, Stacey Rusch is coming out for Season 10 with "big energy" as a new cast member. In previews and in interviews, she's already denied fabricating marriage statuses (Thiemo was her ex-husband) and hook-ups that have been made about her this season.

It was no sooner than the first couple of episodes that co-star Ashley Darby was questioning in detail whether Stacey was even legally divorced (since there appeared to be no public record). Stacey, claiming that she and Thiemo were officially divorced during their holiday, vigorously denied this and stated that fighting back not only got her a reconciliation, but one on paper.

Additionally, she's denied that she paid somebody to play boyfriend on the VH1 show, telling fans that her allegations are far from being true. Not content with drama, new khalayascoots and old friendships are about to be put to the greatest test. But she says she is here today to show a different face, one defined by her presence, ambition, and resilience instead of hearsay.

Here’s the scoop on how Stacey handled cast doubts, what conflict is already brewing, and her plan to turn over a new page in season 10 of The Real Housewives of Potomac below.

Stacey Rusch fires back & embraces bold presence on The Real Housewives of Potomac season 10

Stacey Rusch is making a statement as she enters Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Potomac, rather than treading carefully. She claims she will bring "big energy" and allow her deeds to speak louder than words in the face of cast criticism, rumors, and doubt. She is already denying allegations pertaining to her previous relationships and divorce.

Cast challenges & Stacey’s defense strategy

When Ashley Darby confronted Stacey at the Second Bloom Ball and accused her of "misrepresenting" her divorce status, tensions began to rise. Ashley raised doubts about the veracity of her court records and her relationship with her ex, implying that the story she told the group might not be accurate. Stacey gave a forceful shove back.

"We were notified that we were, in fact, officially divorced while we were on vacation," she said, insisting that she and Thiemo had formally separated while they were away.

She also called the claims insulting and false, and denied paying someone to play her "boyfriend" or influencing her plot. Bossip. She also criticizes her co-stars for turning against her.

Promise of energy: How Stacey plans to show up differently

In addition to defending her past, Stacey repeatedly states that this season, she is focused on demonstration rather than explanation. She has talked about bringing “big energy” into her interactions, social scenes, and conflicts, differently than she has been portrayed before. She seems to be trying to change the narrative from one of accusation to one of performance, making her co-stars deal with the Stacy she portrays on-camera rather than rumors. She is also embracing her entrepreneurial identity.

Throughout season 10 of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Stacey started a cannabis-based wellness company called Shayo Wellness and has made it a part of her legacy. By leading with business and ambition, she could direct the narrative away from personal drama and toward what she’s out to do. If she can maintain those calm nerves and continue to answer with the same presence, maybe she’ll inch the cast dynamic a little in her favor.
