The Summer I Turned Pretty casts 7 new actors in major role for the final Season 

The Summer I Turned Pretty, the romantic drama that is returning for its third and final season in 2025, has just announced six new cast members. The show is based on the novel trilogy of the same name by Jenny Han. The Summer I Turned Pretty is the story of Isabella, aka Belly Conklin, who is in a love triangle with her mother's best friend's sons, Conrad and Jeremiah Fisher.

The Summer I Turned Pretty stars Lola Tung, Christopher Briney, and Gavin Casalegno in lead roles, along with Jackie Chung, Rachel Blanchard, and Sean Kaufman in supporting roles. As Deadline reports, Isabella Briggs and Kristen Connolly have been cast in main roles, while five new actors have been cast in recurring roles for the upcoming season.

New cast joins The Summer I Turned Pretty season three

Season two of The Summer I Turned Pretty saw Belly and Conrad's breakup, which was followed by Belly and Jeremiah starting a relationship at the end of the season. Steven and Taylor finally confess their feelings to each other and decide to be together. As of now, Belly has dated both the Fisher brothers, but we do not know whom she will end up with.

The show has been quite popular because it was created by Jenny Han, who also wrote the novels. Jenny Han's To All The Boys film trilogy did extremely well, and The Summer I Turned Pretty has been winning hearts with its storytelling and beautiful portrayal of romance. As season three is on its way to Prime Video, the only question that remains is which Fisher brother Belly will choose.

The YouTube description for the show's season three teaser trailer describes the season as,

"It’s the end of her junior year of college, and Belly’s looking forward to another summer in Cousins with her soulmate, Jeremiah. Her future seems set, until some core-shaking events bring her first love Conrad back into her life. Now on the brink of adulthood, Belly finds herself at a crossroads and must decide which brother has her heart. Summer will never be the same…"

According to Deadline, seven new actors have been cast for the third season. Isabella Briggs, whom you may remember from Fatal Attraction (2023), is joining as a series regular.

Kristen Connolly, who is best known for playing Dana Polk in The Cabin in the Woods (2011) and Christina Gallagher on House of Cards (2013-2018), has been cast as a series regular.

Additionally, Sofia Bryant, known for playing Dina in I Am Not Okay With This (2020), and Lily Donoghue, known for her role as Lisa Crowne in the Prime Video series Daisy Jones & the Six (2023), will appear in recurring roles.

Zoé de Grand’Maison, who played Evelyn Evernever in seasons three, four, and seven of Riverdale (2017-2023), Emma Ishta, known for playing Kirsten Clark on Stitchers (2015-2017), and Tanner Zagarino, known for his performance in Aftermath (2024) and The Price We Pay (2022), have been cast in recurring roles.

The Summer I Turned Pretty announced via an Instagram post on 14th May 2025 that filming for the third season has begun. Season three is set to release on 16th July on Prime Video.
