Love Island UK has started just now, and it is already getting messy. Alima, a gorgeous girl, picked up Blu to be her partner. The episode saw a blind love match during which the original ladies, who had never met the men, had to pick their initial partners based on their dating profiles.
It was a cute concept and gave the girls a chance to find their fling based on the attributes of their personalities.
As for Alima, he decided to go with Blu. Alima is 23 years old right now and works as a wealth manager. Blu is 26 and is a construction project manager from London. The two seemed to be cute together until it all came crashing down.
After the blind pairing was done, Blue passed on a comment that he did not think much about, but obviously, felt like a blow to Alima. Even Love Island UK fans from around the world claimed that he was being racist towards her, and the production needs to take care of this behavior.
As they were paired up, Alima seemed to be happy. But Blu said that she is not her type on paper. What could he have possibly meant from this comment, and thus, left a bad taste in her mouth?
Later in the Love Island UK episode, Alima decided enough was enough, and she was not taking disrespect from anyone, because even though the couple were talking, it did not feel like he was too much into her. She broke up her connection with him, and this puts her at a greater risk of going home at the next re-coupling.

Host Maya Jama, at the very beginning of this Love Island UK episode, greeted the six single ladies and introduced them to the format through which they will be coupling during that episode.
There were six heart-shaped boards, and on each of them was the dating profile of the men who had come to the villa. The women have not seen the boys yet, however, they will have to pick their match based on what is written on the board.
This was when Alima had chosen to be with Blu, after which the whole fiasco happened.
