The previous episode of The Terminal List: Dark Wolf titled ‘Pawns & Kings’ saw Edwards and the team learning the truth about ‘Shepard’. Jed Haverford is adamant that Vahid gave them the wrong information, which caused a mix-up during the raid, resulting in the death of Eliza Perash. He would end up killing Vahid and asks the others to go ahead with the plan to transport the fake bearings. However, there was a surprising twist.

While the crew thought the bearings were fake, they were in fact real. Additionally, Tal Varon discovers that Haverford has been secretly collaborating with Iranian collaborator Cyrus Rahimi. The knowledge leads Ben Edwards to decide to keep the bearings. However, Haverford has more plays up his sleeve, as he frames Edwards, Landry, Farooq, and Varon as conspirators.

The Terminal List: Dark Wolf Episode 7 finds Edwards preparing to take down Haverford

The Terminal List: Dark Wolf Episode 7 fast forwards months after the incident, and Haverford and Hastings are facing investigation for their role in conspiring to arm Iran with nuclear weapons. But to Hastings’ disappointment, the authorities favor Haverford. Also, it doesn’t help that there is hardly any evidence against Haverford, so he gets to walk free.

Meanwhile, Hastings has been branded as a perpetrator. He also must seek out Edwards to make him surrender. But where is Edwards? Well, he is hidden away in an isolated cabin in Black Forest in Germany. He still has the bearings. The place is like a fortress, complete with mines and booby traps.

After the Alpha Platoon was dismissed, Reece gets a call from Edwards. Edwards sounds thankful for his help and indicates that he may not get another opportunity to share his gratitude, making Reece wonder what he is up to.

Edwards also gets in touch with Varon and asks her to share his location to trap Haverford. They are certain that once his whereabouts are known, Haverford will reach out to Cyrus, which will help Varon track him. Edwards prepares to face off the incoming soldiers that Haverford sends to take the bearings. Varon requests him to hold on for 15 minutes so she can track the real culprits.

As the fight ensures, the soldiers slowly take control around the woods near Edwards’ cabin, but they were in for a surprise as he was well-equipped. Also, it helps that some of the Alpha Platoon members arrive just in time. Despite creating much uproar and damage to the other side, Edwards ends up getting wounded. Reece steps in to help him, when Edwards informs him about the bearings. He requests him to take it to Langley, so they are no longer branded as traitors.

Haverford goes on to justify his actions, saying that he realized that Iran is responsible for terrorism and they did nothing about it. He wants to project that Iran is a real threat to the world, and by letting Cyrus go ahead with the nuclear program, he could influence the government to bomb the country. It was his way of avenging his people. While Haverford asks Edwards to kill him, he instead gets him arrested.

Later, Edwards meets the CIA Director to confess his part in Haverford’s diabolical plan. Towards the end of The Terminal List: Dark Wolf Episode 7, Edwards meets a person called Dash after a couple of months. While Edwards is still reluctant to return to the CIA, Dash asks him to join him. Edwards ends up in Langley, going through a lie detector test, which indicates that he will be officially working with the Agency in the future.
