As mentioned, the story starts with Efe, Selim, Ahmet, and Begum finding a large amount of money in a car that has been involved in an accident. There are also two dead bodies inside. The $12 million belongs to a powerful mafia family. The four friends decide to take the money and end their financial struggle forever. However, this led to them being hunted by the family's enforcer.

The four friends now hope to hide the evidence of the dead bodies. But when they act on their plan, Yildirim, the enforcer, spots them. He tortures Ahmet and learns that he isn't the only one involved.

Now, Yildirim is looking for the money; however, it's only Efe who has kept all of the money safely for now. Selim, his brother, ends up being captured by the mafia and is eventually murdered, escalating the emotional stakes. The Sepekcis now know that multiple people are involved. For the group, the money has become meaningless as they have lost their loved one. Selim's death pushes Efe to take revenge.

Efe realizes how the mafia controls the region, with the police being corrupt. Amidst this, reporting their crime will only save them and endanger him. He comes to the conclusion that justice can't be served via legal means. So he retaliates in his own way.

Efe records his confession on a video, owning up to his crime. He also managed to get a forced confession from one of the corrupt officers to hand Selim over to him. He then posted everything online for the public. He doesn't want the truth to be buried and is done with being manipulated by these powerful mafias. He wanted to expose the Sepekci family and their money laundering, corrupt networks, and the kind of murders they are involved in.

Efe's move is destabilizing the mafia empire. He manages to kill Caner Sepekci and frames the rest of the family for Selim's murder.

After all the violence and deaths, Ahmet, Efe, Begum, and Zeynep leave the town. They take the mafia money and their personal belongings with them, along with the sanity and hope that is left to pass their lives ahead.

Behind them is a corrupt police system that serves the pocket of a powerful mafia empire. The trauma of losing Selim still echoes in the place and their hearts. The town, after knowing the truth about its locality, is now in fear.

The ending also reveals Begum to be pregnant, which serves as a symbol for a new beginning after the devastation they survived. Though Efe lost his brother, the group has gained a new life. This child becomes a catalyst to escape the town more urgently, as they wanted to build a better future for the child away from the criminal empire.
