The Ultimatum: Queer Love season 2 saw AJ being very indecisive before she finally locked down her trial marriage partner on the show. This Netflix reality TV show requires the contestants to separate from their real-life partners for a bit and explore new connections with someone else to figure out if what they have is strong enough or not.

This season's star AJ, made chaos during The Ultimatum: Queer Love's episode 2 when she talked with three potential matches who felt like they each have been led on by her. They claimed she was flirty with them and thus, ended up giving them hope.

However, AJ defended her actions by saying that she was just trying to know everyone before making the right decision for herself. But given the fact that she had similar conversations with all of them, the partners thought that she was not genuine about it all.

Now that the series has aired on the streaming platform, AJ, talking to People, acknowledged her behavior on The Ultimatum: Queer Love and accepted that she was being too indecisive which ended up being a problem for everybody else who was counting on her. During this interview, she said,

"I think it's important to know that, one: I am a people person. I do thrive in larger environments. The more, the merrier. However, I wouldn't necessarily change much [about my journey on the show], except for my timing on how I should have made more decisive decisions."

She added,

"I'm a Libra by nature, so decisive decisions are not our strongest suit. I wish I just had a better eye for that and a better urgency, like a sense of urgency throughout the process."

The Ultimatum: Queer Love - What happened between AJ and her prospects for the trial marriage

AJ had been talking to two different people on The Ultimatum: Queer Love in order to select a trial marraige partner for herself. They were Marie and Marita. As the decision day was upon them, AJ ended up choosing Marie while Marita had chosen AJ.

This was met with a bit of heartbreak, but things were sorted when Marita ultimately paired up with Britney, AJ's original partner, whom she had entered.

Bridget, being the true one, during the dinner, called out AJ's actions and said that she was overly physical in her way of connection with the matches, and that was a lot of intensity for someone who was just trying to get to know each other.

Trying to clear her name, AJ, during the interview with People, said,

"I think that because of me not being able to make decisions, it definitely landed me in a lot of hot water. But I really hope that no matter what, people can see that generally I did care. I do care."

Episode 1 to 7 of The Ultimatum: Queer Love are available to watch online via Netflix. The last three are scheduled to release on July 2, 2025.
