In Weak Hero Class 2, the Union consolidates power by uniting various school gangs and for the first time, it becomes a dominant force in the region, backed by adult gang members like Choi Chang-hee, hinting at a larger criminal network at play.
Therefore, Class 2 raises the stakes from Class 1 significantly, shifting the narrative from a simple high school bullying story to the formation of a structured and organised group, The Union.
According to reports, Season 2 has already set up a thrilling plot for Class 3, just like how it was for the previous season. Read on to know how.

Here is what happened in Class 1 and Class 2 of Weak Hero so far

In Class 1, the story focused on Yeon Si-eun, a quiet, intelligent student who uses brains over brawn to fight back against school bullies. It was the most grounded take on school violence, revolving around friendship, rebellion, loyalty, etc.
Class 2, on the other hand, dramatically extends it by introducing The Union, which is a powerful, structured gang to controls students across various schools. The Class 1 post-credit scene already introduced it briefly, but we see it becoming a major antagonist in Class 2.
It is shown as a multi-school gang, with Yeoil High, led by Na Baek-jin, Ganghak High, led by Geum Seong-je and Yeonsung High, with Do Seong-muk and Baek Dong-he. Si-eun, known for his intelligence and underdog determination, and Baku, respected for his loyalty and strength, emerge as the natural leaders of the resistance against the Union.
Though the Union suffers a loss in Class 2, the leaders take it as a part of the process of being in a criminal world. Parallely, in Si-eun's alliance, several students who were suffering personally, or wanted to keep their school free, joined.
Here is what Class 2 sets up for Class 3 of Weak Hero

For Class 3 of Weak Hero, Class 2 leaves several questions unanswered, developing a plot for the future part. Mr. Choi used the Union as a front for illegal operations: phone theft, motorcycle trafficking, and money laundering through a bowling alley.
With Na Baek-jin dead, Seong-je refusing leadership, and Si-eun’s group closing in, the system Choi relied on to remain undetected is starting to collapse. So the question remains — what will happen to Mr. Choi in Class 3? Or will Eunjang finally get pulled into a full-scale gang war?
So, Class 3 might explore the larger criminal world of the adult gang that is behind the union, along with the personal costs for Si-eun, Baku, and their friends, of going against the powerful. The moral conflict between fighting for what’s right and the temptation to join a powerful organisation for protection might also receive some attention.
Na Baek-jin was an intelligent leader in the Union; despite his criminal acts, he was not purely evil. His death is a major turning point that leaves the future of the Union ambiguous.
This also suggests that in Class 3, Si-eun will no longer be just a victim or defender — he’s becoming a leader of resistance. His emotional growth, combined with his intellect, suggests that Class 3 will see him fully step into that role in Weak Hero.
