The Voice Season 26 made an eventful comeback on small screens on Monday, September 23, 2024. As per the show's format, it kicked off with blind auditions and has dropped two episodes. New episodes air every Monday on NBC at 8/7c. The show also runs on Peacock a day after the original release.

This season, rap king Snoop Dogg joined the returning coaches Reba McEntire, Gwen Stefani, and Canadian singer and songwriter Michael Bublé. The show has called its veteran host, Carson Daly, for the 26th time to host the new season. However, the show's format remains the same, accounting for some twists and turns as it progresses to keep it more engaging for the fans.

The show will have episodes dedicated to blind auditions. In these, all four coaches will choose 14 artists each by turning the chair for the desired artist. The coaches can block the artists so the other cannot select them.

In episode 2 of The Voice, which aired on September 30, all four coaches had to turn their red chairs for the performances that blew their minds. Let's explore the performances of night 2 and see who got the coaches' chairs turned.

Who were the artists to get the coaches' chair turned in episode 2 of The Voice Season 26?

Tanner Frick and 323 (Jonathan Perry, Jacob Sumpter, and Kinsley Treadwell) from Team Reba

Tanner Frick and 323 both joined Team Reba in episode 2, Blind Auditions. Tanner Frick, a 26 years old County singer from Manchester, made all the coaches turn their chairs after performing Thought You Should Know, a Morgan Wallace song in his rendition. All four coaches appreciated Tanner, and Reba ensured he grabbed the Manchester artist as her genre clicked with Tanner's.

323, a trio from Florida, performed their rendition of "You Drive Me Crazy" and earned Reba and Michael's attention. Reba quickly turned her chair and convinced the artists to join her team, grabbing two artists in episode 2.

Dreion, a 27-year-old lad from Nebraska, once got the chance to open for Earth, Wind & Fire on a tour. Therefore, he performed one of their songs, Shining Star, in episode 2, Blind Auditions. All four coaches turned their chairs, but Gwen took her time and turned last. Snoop Dogg admired his skills but told him that he was the one who would help him get to the top. All four coaches wanted him on their teams, but he chose Snoop Dog as his coach.

On the other hand, the 61-year-old Gail Bliss performed If It Hadn’t Been for Love, which made all the coaches appreciate her performance, but they could not turn their chairs. However, Snoop Dogg decided to use his 'replay' power and took Gail into his team.

Mor Ilderton and Kamila Kiehne from Team Michael

Mor Ilderton from West Virginia impressed the coaches by performing Coal by the Sidelines in his own 'unique' way, as Michael said after hitting the Block button on Reba. Snoop Dogg turned his chair, too, and said that he liked the way Mor performed the song, adding his touch to it.

Kamila Kiehne performed Black Velvet in episode 2, Blind Auditions, and made three coaches, Snoop, Michael, and Reba, turn their chairs. Snoop Dogg was sold from the very line of the song, while Michael told her that she sounded great. Michael told Kamila that she would fit perfectly in his team and he would help her choose the right songs.

Austyns Stancil, Rowdy Shea, and Felsmere from Team Gwen

Season 26 witnessed history in the making when a contestant from season 1 of The Voice, Kelsey Rey, returned with a brand new stage name, Felsmere. 33-year-old Felsmere, a.k.a Kelsey Rey, performed Some Kind of Wonderful in her rendition. Gwen and Michael were quick to turn their chairs. However, Gwen grabbed her from Michael at the end and called her someone with 'big dreams.'

Rowdy Shea, a Texas rancher, impressed the coaches with his rendition of You Shouldn’t Kiss Me Like This. Michael and Gwen were again at each other to get Rowdy on their team. But Rowdy called her new bride on stage and asked her to help him choose, which led to Rowdy joining Team Gwen.

Austyns Stancil, who hails from East Oakland, performed Ooo Baby Baby for his blind auditions, making four coaches turn their chairs. Austyns opted to join Team Gwen.

Episode 3 of The Voice Season 26 will air on October 7 at 8/7c on NBC.
