After leaving the old man, he comes across a train being pulled by the zombies. The zombies are tied by chains to the train as they follow a man riding on a horse playing a guitar. The zombies are following the man with a guitar, as a result, pulling the train compartments with them. However, soon, his path is filled with difficulty when his bike is taken from him.

Losing his bike and the water he had, he is in deep trouble when he comes across a group of villagers. These villagers suffered from leprosy, which led their bodies to be deformed. Though Daryl was worried in the beginning, he soon understood that these villagers were not going to harm him. The leader of the villagers, Mateo, leads him inside the village, where Daryl witnesses the difficult lives they are leading.

Mateo informs Daryl that they do not have any water as the “bandidos” stole their water and left on the train. Daryl understands that the train he saw on his way was the same one that took the water of the villagers, leaving them to die. Mateo offers to give Daryl a truck in exchange for bringing the water of the villagers back to them so that they can survive. Daryl understood what he had to do. He took the truck and set out to find the train; however, he soon saw that the bikers were following him.

He decided to return to the village with the bikers on his tail. The villagers help him get rid of the bikers, and he eventually sets out to get the water back. Despite knowing the danger that lay ahead of him, Daryl did not think twice before helping the villagers. He sympathised with them by understanding their dire situation. He used his wit to quickly remove the shackles from the zombies, which led the zombies to attack the man on the horse. He fought off the enemies for the villagers and finally returned the water to the villagers, saving their lives.
