The Wheel of Time Season 3: The story so far
The Wheel of Time Season 3 started with the Aes Sedai gathering at the White Tower for an important meeting. Liandrin Guirale arrived with the Red Ajah sisters, but only she was allowed to enter the meeting. She accused the Amyrlin Seat of secretly colluding with Rand al’Thor instead of capturing him.
However, the Amyrlin fought back by accusing Liandrin of being a Darkfriend, and the argument ended up in a battle. Meanwhile, Moiraine and her allies arrived in the city and sensed some danger. She warned everyone they needed to leave for Tear, but Rand had other plans and insisted they travel to the Aiel Waste.
Queen Morgase’s past was then revealed as she planned to bring her daughter home from the White Tower. Meanwhile, Rand struggled with dreams of Lanfear, and Egwene also had terrifying nightmares.
Perrin then returned to the Two Rivers, where he saw White Cloaks taking over the town. As tensions grew, the group faced new threats, including an ominous prophecy about Rand’s future.
Lanfear later met with Lord Gabriel and Sammael and warned them that Moghedien was working in the shadows, planning to take them down one by one. She suggested forming an alliance, but Rahvin did not like the idea.
Meanwhile, Nynaeve and Elayne interrogated two captured Black Ajah sisters. The women revealed that Liandrin had gone to Tear to take control of Callandor, while another claimed she was searching for Mazrim Taim. Before they could investigate further, a Gray Man attempted to kill them but was stopped.
At the same time, Rand and his group continued their journey through the Aiel Waste, where they found bodies left behind by the Shaido Clan. The third episode ended with Mat practicing with a quarterstaff. He impressed Elayne’s brothers and decided to join Nynaeve and Elayne on their journey to Tanchico.
