Nielsen streaming charts prove that fans can't get enough of The White Lotus Season 3, as it has become the No. 1 show in streaming.

The Nielsen streaming charts only consider the minutes watched on TV sets in the US and do not include streaming on phones, computers, and tablets. The recent data for March 31-April 6, 2025, records that The White Lotus Season 3 became the No. 1 streamed show for the week.

The highly anticipated Season 3 of Mike White's anthology black comedy series debuted on February 16, 2025. Set in Thailand, the new ensemble cast included Walton Goggins, Aimee Lou Wood, Natasha Rothwell, Parker Posey, and many more.

The Season 3 finale, which premiered on HBO on April 6, 2025, also recorded smashing viewing numbers and broke its past records.

More on The White Lotus Season 3 in our story.

Nielsen’s streaming charts: The White Lotus Season 3 became the No. 1 streamed series

The Nielsen streaming chart numbers for March 31-April 6 are finally here, and according to the recorded data, The White Lotus Season 3 is the No. 1 streamed series. The third chapter of White's anthology series recorded a total of 1.31 billion minutes of viewing on Max for the week (including just a few hours of the Season 3 finale).

Earlier, the Season 3 finale broke the previous seasons' record and became the most-watched season finale of the show yet.

Coming in third is Taylor Sheridan's 1923 Season 2, which garnered 1.06 billion minutes of viewing, just before its Season 2 finale. Coincidentally, like The White Lotus, it is also the highest record for the show yet.

Netflix's The Residence earned the second spot and also crossed the 1 billion mark. Following the three shows, the list was followed by Grey's Anatomy (1.06 billion), Bluey (1.01 billion), Love on the Spectrum US (842 million), Reacher (823 million), and Pulse (797 million).

The White Lotus Season 3 finale surpassed all the viewing records

While Season 3 was initially criticized for its slow pacing, it was ultimately the best. While Rick and Chelsea's deaths in the Season 3 finale broke hearts, fans could not stop themselves, and the finale smashed all viewing records of its predecessors.

According to Nielsen’s measurement of viewers on HBO and Warner Bros. Discovery’s data, 6.2 million viewers watched The White Lotus Season 3 finale on April 6, 2025. While this was an overall high for the show, it also broke the season 2 finale record of 4.2 million viewers.

The season 3 finale saw a 51% increase from the season 2 finale and a 158% increase from its own season premiere, clearly setting a new milestone for the show.

According to additional combined data from Warner Bros, season 3 currently stands with 20 million viewers for the premiere and an average of 16 million viewers for the entire season.

In addition to the impressive numbers, fans and critics alike loved the season 3 finale, which was claimed to be the best of the three.
