Now, as Redanian Intelligence reports, Arinder Sadhra has been cast as Harut in The Witcher season four.
The Witcher season four
The Witcher season four will feature several new characters, including Regis, played by Laurence Fishburne; Leo Bonhart, a bounty hunter played by Sharlto Copley; Skellen, the court advisor of Emhyr's court, played by James Purefoy; and Zoltan, played by Danny Woodburn. Harut, a much lesser-known character, yet an essential one, is joining the cast of The Witcher season four and will be seen in season four, played by Arinder Sadhra.
Arinder Sadhra is a theater actor who has worked on projects like Approval Needed (2018), After the World Ended (2015), and Enemy of England (2022).
The Witcher season 3 ended with Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri being once again separated. After being defeated by Vilgefortz, who secretly aids Nilfgaard, Geralt retreats to heal before setting off with allies to rescue Ciri, who is heard to have been taken by Emperor Emhyr. However, Emhyr has been deceived; he possesses a girl named Teryn, not the real Ciri.
Meanwhile, the real Ciri is lost in the Korath Desert, where she struggles with her powers and joins a group called the Rats, adopting the name Falka. At Aretuza, Yennefer mourns Tissaia but steps up to lead the sorceresses in the aftermath of Vilgefortz’s betrayal.
In season four, the show, according to Netflix, will explore,
After the shocking, Continent-altering events that close out Season 3, the new season follows Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri, who are separated and traversing the war-ravaged Continent and its many demons. If they can embrace and lead the groups of misfits they find themselves in, they have a chance of surviving the baptism of fire — and finding one another again.
As for what will happen to Geralt, creator and showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich told Tudum by Netflix,
“His side is Ciri and Yen, and he will do anything [for them],”
“He will get involved in anything he has to get into in order to make that happen.”
She added,
“This is the beginning of what fans [of the books] will know as the Hanza. It’s the group traveling with Geralt for the rest of the books. This becomes his newfound family,”
“He begins to realize that he needs help to get Yennefer and Ciri back, and when you need to help, you actually have to give of yourself as well. So, we start to watch the Hanza build and start to see that there are some amazing emotional connections to come there as well.”
She continued,
“It’s really fun. That’s still a struggle for Geralt. This is a man who has always claimed he doesn’t have emotions because he can’t. And we clearly know that is not true. We’ll start to see those boundaries tested again in Season 4.”
The Witcher season four arrives in 2025, and the first three seasons are streaming on Netflix.
