In All of Us Are Dead, survival was not just about avoiding zombies, but it also involved the worst aspects of the human mind. The undead were frightful, but some living characters were creepier to the viewers. Whether it was bullies and self-centered schoolmates or cold politicians and spineless adults, these people made horrifying decisions that cost people their lives.
Their behavior was inhuman, spineless, or strategic, and they soon became the most despised characters in the presentation. The seven characters who topped that list are mentioned below.

Here's the list of the 7 characters from All of Us Are Dead that will always top my list of the most hated ones
7. The Assemblywoman

Assemblywoman Park and Nam So-ju's firefighting crew are introduced as two officials trapped in the government center. She also makes it known that she negotiates with So-ju to sit around and do his duty, and then she runs to see her daughter, On-jo. It is vital to note her political stance: she chose to sell So-ju, demonstrating her dedication to acting responsibly and with principle.
As the military evacuates officials and leaves the students behind, she stands firm against criticism, asserting she has lost nothing by escaping the crisis. When she hides with On-jo's father, the moment of crisis occurs. She doesn't care about him, but her interests always focus on image and political gain.
Her adversaries regard her as a symbol of a government prioritizing power over the people. That cold disengagement made the audience believe Park Eun-hee was rather an incisive politician than a hero. She bitterly contrasts the heroic intentions of Nam So-ju and can be regarded as one of the most detested characters of All of Us Are Dead.
6. The School Principal

The principal of Hyosan High School is subtly evil in All of Us Are Dead, and even compared to more obviously evil people, he remains rather callous and cowardly, so his indifference kills people. He knows everything about the bullying epidemic in undisguised form, brutalizing students, such as Eun-ji and Cheol-soo, yet he remains silent and does not help them.
When the outbreak starts, he runs and hides rather than lend aid and leave behind his duties and the students. When Gwi-nam killed him, it seems that he got what he deserved.
He was despised by the viewers, not because he was violent, but because he was quiet and spineless. As a result, he transformed the school into an environment that nurtured monsters long before the zombies arrived.
5. Homeroom Teacher Mr. Kang

In All of Us Are Dead, Mr. Kang is a physical education teacher at Hyosan High School. Early enough, he does not care about his students. He allows the children to fend for themselves during the beginning of the outbreak, acting as if nothing significant is happening.
One of the incidents shows how Mr. Kang lies by claiming that everything is under control after a teacher reveals that he is ill. He notifies the students that the police are coming, but this is not the case. Additionally, he yells at the students, exacerbating their fear and confusion.
In the future, when it happens to him as well, he attempts to conceal being bitten by a zombie. He endangers everyone instead of alerting other people. After some time, he becomes a zombie and bites one of the students, which makes the situation even more threatening to the group.
The audience hates Mr. Kang because he was a skilled adult who was greedy and cowardly. He did not even attempt to save the children and get them out of danger. He also failed during a crisis. This is why Mr. Kang is among the most despised ones in All of Us Are Dead.
4. Kim Cheol-soo

Kim Cheol-soo is a schoolboy in All of Us Are Dead who has always faced bullying from others. He may have initially elicited sympathy from the audience on his behalf. However, that was altered soon after by what he did.
During one of the critical moments, a group of students is unable to enter the rooftop door, which is locked. They are afraid and beg to be let in, but Cheol-soo, who is inside, hears them and chooses not to care. He remains silent and drives away, leaving them to face the zombies on their own. He then lies and says he is the only survivor when the military finds him.
This suggests that the other students who just happened to be alive could not be saved. His move also culminates in increased fatalities. The truth is that people hated Cheol-soo because, although he might have done the right thing by saving the others, he was only considering himself.
Despite having experienced bullying, he nevertheless decided to act in a selfish and inhumane way. That is why Kim Cheol-soo is regarded as one of the least favorite characters in All of Us Are Dead.
3. Min Eun-ji

Min Eun-ji is already a shy character and a subject of bullying in All Of Us Are Dead, so her transformation into a hambie is particularly unsettling. She starts out with a shaky optimism that working with others will give her life a purpose. However, when she gets bitten, she loses it all.
In a very emotional moment, she jumps across one rooftop to a corridor and steals a phone belonging to one of the teachers. She bites his neck and kills him, and the body drops to the ground. This is precipitous, violent, and startling. Eun-ji has completely changed. Her eyes seem frenzied, and her mouth is covered in blood.
The following moment, she is tearing the flesh of the soldiers in the courtyard. The scene reveals her complete act of violence brought by sheer emotion. This is extremely perplexing for the audience: Eun-ji may be a victim, yet she went too far.
She simply kills and seems to take pleasure in her position of authority. She transforms into the shadows that formerly ruled her. That instability and her bestial tendencies turned her into one of the most frightening and despised characters in All of Us Are Dead.
2. Lee Na-yeon

Lee Na-yeon is a wealthy and spoiled high school student in All of Us Are Dead. In episode 3, she lies about the fact that Gyeongsus was bitten. However, nothing can be worse than the scene of her infecting him secretly. She also clears his wound with a handkerchief that has been dipped in zombie blood. He subsequently transforms and turns into a zombie in front of everyone. It is a terrible act. She does it only to be superior and show that she was right. Then she proceeds to make fun of him and poses as innocent.
The audience is agitated with hatred and nausea. At the most inconvenient time, she is selfish, elitist, and cruel. She tries to do something decent, but it's too late. Gwi-nam, a half-zombie, kills her. She then shuts herself in a room filled with food and water, refusing to share it with other starving pupils. She killed the trust and took away lives. She was given the space to be better, yet she opted to hate. That treason puts Lee Na‑yeon among the most despised characters in All of Us Are Dead.
1. Yoon Gwi-nam

At the beginning of All Of Us Are Dead, Yoon Gwi-nam, a school bully, rules over the less-powerful students and instills dread into everyone by mere presence. He immediately shows up as the outbreak begins. He throws frightened classmates into the zombie mob in the cafeteria in a cold-blooded move to save his own life. He later comes back to the school, confronting the school principal with a kitchen knife, killing him without hesitation, and proceeds to stalk Cheong-san into the library.
The scene where Gwi-nam, dressed as a hambie, corners Cheong-san on the roof of a building site is the most eerie. He brutally scratches out Cheong-san's eye with his bare hands and laughs hysterically when Cheong‑san cries out in agony. It is horror, pure and simple.
According to the fans, the scene was one of the most shocking on television since Gwi‑nam is aggressive and enjoys cruelty. His transformation from being a human bully to a remorseless killer shows that his cruelty is not just infectious, but it is his nature to be that way.
Even as a monster, he has a sick desire for revenge and to have it all. Such an amalgam of sadistic delight, physical violence, and a death-defying ability renders Yoon Gwi‑nam the most repulsive and hate-inducing character in All of Us Are Dead.
It is concluded that these seven characters in All of Us Are Dead were not merely villains but were used to represent human weaknesses under pressure. It could be betrayal, a desire to have power, or blind selfishness, but overall, their actions defined the darkest twists of the story. The viewers despised them not just because they were monsters, but they wanted to become one.
