Dexter: Resurrection is a crime drama series that continues the story of Dexter Morgan, portrayed by Michael C. Hall. Just a few weeks after the events of Dexter: New Blood, Michael C. Hall's character Dexter Morgan's narrative continues in Dexter: Resurrection. After recuperating from a near-fatal gunshot, Dexter is currently looking for his son Harrison. As per the storyline, he goes missing in New York City.

David Zayas reprises his role as Captain Angel Batista, Dexter's longtime coworker and buddy and Batista feels guilty about allowing Dexter to flee years ago.
