Bridgerton Season 4 is a little more than a month away, and the first teaser trailer has been released. Each season of Bridgerton focuses on the love story of a Bridgerton sibling. In the first three seasons, we've seen Daphne, Anthony, and Colin Bridgerton find love and get married. In Bridgerton Season 4, we will be seeing Benedict Bridgerton, who is notorious for being a rake, fall hopelessly for a lady.As the teaser trailer reveals, although Benedict was happily living his life as an artist and spending his days with the men and women of his choice, he now has to make a change. He has to abide by the laws of society and, more importantly, listen to his mother and find a suitable lady for himself. There will be plenty of gossip for the queen as yet another member of the Bridgerton family is going to be the talk of the town, and this time it's Benedict Bridgerton. Violet wants him to find the right lady and get married, but he isn't too keen on actually settling down. We see Violet emphasize how everyone will be closely observing the masquerade ball being held at their house, and we soon learn that a new family will be in attendance. Lady Araminta Gun and her daughters, Rosamund Li and Posy Li, are new in town and will be attending the masquerade ball at the Bridgerton house.But Lady Araminta has a stepdaughter, Sophie, whom she treats like a servant. It is a plotline like that of Cinderella that Bridgerton Season 4 will be following when it comes to Sophie and her family. Just like in the fairytale of Cinderella, the stepmother and stepsisters go to the ball, but Sophie isn't allowed to. With the help of the staff at Lady Araminta's house, Sophie goes to the ball, dressed in a silver gown, with a beautiful mask covering most of her face. The masquerade theme of the ball allows her to attend it in disguise, but she's warned by the staff to return home by midnight to avoid suspicion.Sophie attends the ball, and Benedict is immediately taken by her beauty. When he asks her for a dance, she says she doesn't know how to, which intrigues him, and he takes her to the garden, where he teaches her how to dance. The two have a conversation and share a few vulnerable moments, but the clock hits twelve soon, and Sophie flees, leaving behind one of her gloves with Benedict by mistake. Following that intriguing meeting, Benedict looks for her all over town but can't find her because he doesn't know her name or how she really looks. The show is created by Chris Van Dusen, who also serves as a showrunner along with Jess Brownell. Dusen also executive produces the show with Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers, and Julie Anne Robinson.
