"Thinks she's being creative lol" - 90 Day Fiancé fans criticize Shekinah for trying to get married in bed

90 Day Fiancé, on June 8, 2025, saw the couples get ready for their wedding vows, and some even tied the knot already. One of them was Shekinah and Sarper, who have had ups and downs throughout their engagement period but are now heading towards what seems to be a definite marriage.

However, Shekinah has a vision for the whole thing, and fans do not agree with it. She envisions a ceremony where she and Sarper can read their vows in bed at a hotel, but the hotel should also have good lighting in the bed area for pictures.

In this episode, they scout a location for the ceremony, the couple tries to book a venue for the wedding.

However, this shocked 90 Day Fiancé fans as a wedding in bed sounded too ridiculous to them. Also, seeing Shekinah get too emotional over the whole thing did not sit right with them as they pointed out she never tried to fix her relationship, but is worried about the venue and the wedding in bed. Taking to Twitter, a fan claimed,

"Just because wedding & bedding rhymes doesn't make it a good idea. Shekinah really thinks she's being creative lol."

"Shekinah, you're getting married in a bed that millions of people have slept AND f***** in, imma need you to relaxxxxx," said a fan.

"BTW I hate Shekinah. She’s now up there with the likes of Angela, Jasmine and Ed," expressed another fan.

"Shekinah is having a tantrum because the cheap h**ker hotel room she rented for her wedding venue is exactly what she paid for," read a tweet.

"Just when I think Shekinah can’t be any more ridiculous, she finds a way to top it!" said a fan.

"Did this whiny b*tch even ask the hotel if the chandelier was over the bed or did she just assume it was? I hate Shekinah so much," wrote a viewer.

"Shekinah: 'I want it to be elegant and classy' Ma’am, you’re getting married in a hotel bed," humored another fan.

"Shekinah’s dream wedding was brought to you today by the TikTok shop," said a fan.

90 Day Fiancé - Shekinah and Sarper set to marry in a bed

In the previous episode, Shekinah and Sarper recently went through the whole prenup talk on 90 Day Fiancé. And then came another blow when he found out that she had been tracking him through an AirTag that was attached to the keys.

She explained that it was because he always forgets where his keys are, but Sarper suspects foul play and distrust.

Later in the 90 Day Fiancé episode, we see that they are checking out a hotel suite to have their wedding at. Shekinah explains that she has a vision for it and wants to read their vows and tie the knot in bed. Sarper, who is just nodding along with her plans, also could not understand the whole thing.

Soon, when she couldn't get to her perfect destination that she had imagined in her mind, Shekinah becomes emotional and starts crying, which surprises Sarper. He used to feel like she had no emotions, but seeing her cry over something like that made him question things jokingly.
