The Five-Star Weekend is adding one star power after another, with the latest addition to its cast being Big Love star Chloë Sevigny. As per a report by Variety magazine, Sevigny has come onboard The Five-Star Weekend and will be appearing as the series regular character of Tatum McKenzie.
Regina Hall of Scary Movie franchise fame is slated to headline The Five-Star Weekend, which is based on the Elin Hilderbrand novel of the same name. The show will be available exclusively on Peacock.

It was recently reported that Jennifer Garner would be playing the lead character on The Five-Star Weekend. The show then added Regina Hall to its cast and most recently has welcomed Chloë Sevigny. The series is created by Bekah Brunstetter and has been written by Beth Schacter, who also serves as the executive producer of the show alongside Ali Krug, Sue Neagle, and Hilderbrand. While Jennifer Garner will be seen as the lead character of food blogger and influencer Hollis Shaw, Regina Hall will play the character of Dru-Ann, who happens to be one of Shaw’s friends from college.
Sevigny will play the character of Tatum McKenzie and is expected to appear in multiple episodes of the Peacock show. She was previously known for regularly appearing on American Horror Story. Her performance in the sophomore season of FX’s Feud was widely praised as well. Her other notable performances include playing Kitty Menendez on Netflix’s Monster and the HBO show Big Love, for which she bagged a Golden Globe. Known for her edgy and complex roles, Sevigny’s casting in a glossy drama adds an intriguing layer to the show’s evolving tone.
What is The Five-Star Weekend all about?
The show is an adaptation of the 2023 novel of the same name, and the official plot synopsis reads:
"Hollis Shaw (Garner), a famed food influencer known for her delicious recipes, impeccable taste, and warm demeanor suffers a devastating loss. Unable to move forward, the death starts to expose the cracks in Hollis’s picture-perfect life—her strained marriage, her complicated relationship with her daughter, and her growing pursuit of validation from her followers. In an effort to overcome grief and find herself again, Hollis gets the idea to host a weekend away at her house on Nantucket with three friends from different stages in her life: her childhood, her twenties, thirties, and one surprise fifth star. Set against a luxurious and coastal backdrop, they will mature in ways they could never imagine as boundaries are pushed and secrets are exposed.”
