The Beatles movies have finally found their fifth Beatle in the Game of Thrones actor Harry Lloyd.
Famously known for playing Viserys Targaryen in the HBO Original show, Harry Lloyd will now be taking up the role of George Martin, the legendary producer who was often referred to as the fifth Beatle.
This biopic series, once considered next to impossible, is now coming to life via Sony Pictures as a four-film event. The cinematic event has already found its Beatles in Harris Dickinson, Paul Mescal, Barry Keoghan, and Joseph Quinn.

The Beatles biopic film series casts Game of Thrones star Harry Lloyd as its George Martin
While several great musicians and bands have been given the biopic treatment, the far too expensive life and music rights of The Beatles have long rendered a biopic near impossible. However, Sony Pictures and director Sam Mendes have undertaken the project. Mendes is completely dedicated as well, as the biopic is set to be a four-film event, each of which is set to focus on a different band member.

Set to be theatrically released in April 2028, the films are set to be the "first bingeable theatrical experience," as described by the Sony Pictures CEO, Tom Rothman. Mendes has already found its four band members, Paul, John, George, and Ringo. According to official announcements, Paul Mescal (Normal People) is set to play Paul McCartney. He is set to be joined by Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things) as George Harrison, and finally Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr.
The Beatles have also found their unofficial fifth Beatles member in the Game of Thrones actor Harry Lloyd. Known for his role as Viserys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, the actor will now be playing George Martin, who was once referred to as the world's most famous record producer, owing to his extensive involvement in the band's official albums.
Martin, who passed away in 2016, was responsible for writing most of the string and orchestral arrangements for the original albums. He would also play the keyboard or the piano on their tracks. The producer is single-handedly responsible for 30 number-one hit singles in the U.K. and 23 in the U.S. He has also won six Grammy Awards for his contribution to the industry.

The four films are set to be a massive cinematic event, as unlike any other movies about the Beatles band members, the Sam Mendes movies have a complete sign-off from the band's label, Apple Corps, to use their music in the scripted films. Additionally, reports suggest that award-winning writers Jez Butterworth, Peter Straughn, and Jack Thorne are set to join Mendes for the cinematic event.
While it has been revealed that The Beatles films will be released in 2028, there are no specific release dates or information about the history that will be covered in the films, from the band's rise to their subsequent breakup and solo careers.
