The deeper we go into Peacemaker Season 2, the more we get entrenched in truly unforgettable and unpredictable scenarios. One of these scenarios was the return of the green-garbed martial artist Judomaster in the recent episodes. The last time we saw this man, he was one of the major supporters of the Butterflies and, therefore, an antagonist to the Eleventh Street Kids.
While Chris ended up exposing and destroying the Butterflies, Judomaster, despite being defeated, presents a surprising challenge. The DC show, however, never actually gives any dimension to this character, other than his fighting skills and enmity with Chris and the rest of the 11th Street kids.
The Judomaster's entry and his position opposite Chris in Peacemaker Season 2 have left fans wondering if the green-clad, Cheeto-eating martial artist could be a series regular on the show, and they might just have some good reasoning behind this one. Here's what we know so far.
Judomaster should be a series regular on Peacemaker Season 2. Here's why

Ever since Judomaster appeared in Peacemaker Season 1, he has been an interesting addition as a challenge for Chris. His size and inability to accept defeat and stay down make him keep coming back despite being defeated multiple times.
However, despite introducing the character, the DC show avoids giving it any three-dimensional background. From the reasoning behind his loyalty to the Butterflies to why he keeps coming back for more in fights, there is a lot we know about him.
Now, Judomaster is back for his second season on the show, after being hired by A.R.G.U.S. to capture Chris, Eagly, and his Quantum Unfolding Chamber, a doorway to other dimensions. Judomaster's return to the series has brought up one more question: whether he should be a series regular.
For the second time around, Peacemaker is only focusing on the fighting skills of the mixed martial artist and his enmity towards Chris, after being teamed up with John Economos by A.R.G.U.S. Even though he is a consistent opponent against Chris and even manages to almost defeat him in the fight in Peacemaker Season 2 Episode 4, the show continues to make the character a two-dimensional paper-cut villain.
Given the opportunity, this character could be developed into a truly interesting figure. His conversation with Economos in the fourth episode shows that many humorous moments could arise from how he handles threats to his real life. His size causes opponents to make assumptions, as seen in Peacemaker Season 1. These assumptions tend to be very costly for those who oppose him.
If the DC show focused more on this character and developed him into a consistent villain with a background, a motive, and something driving him, Judomaster could have become a great series regular with strong potential.
We'll have to wait until the end of this season to understand if Gunn has managed to dive deeper into this character this season.
