The latest The Voice Season 28 Episode 9 featured Battles Part 3 featuring the artists from all three teams. One of them was between Carolina Rodriguez and Kirbi from Team Horan.
Things got exciting as the duo delivered a fantastic performance. Coach Reba noted that she couldn't decide whom to choose while Niall Horan also stated that he struggled to make a decision.
He wished that he had two saves so that he could choose both, Carolina and Kirbi. After a lot of thoughts, he chose Kirbi and was hoping that one of the fellow coaches would steal Carolina.
Niall announced his decision, which was to keep Kirbi in his team. However, he regretted that he didn't have two saves.
"This is where I wish we had two saves. I was really struggling. Kirbi just gave me that level of emotion that I really wanted from the song. She's one of the greater storytellers in the competition. That's what it came down to," confessed Niall Horan.
The Voice Season 28 Episode 9: Niall Horan struggles to choose between Carolina and Kirbi during The Battles Part 3
The latest episode of The Voice featured a duet from Carolina Rodriguez and Kirbi. The two sang You Say which mesmerized the coaches and the audience. As the two were finishing their performance, Niall Horan's reaction was:
"Oh my God! What do I do?"
It was because he could only choose one artist while the two delivered such a fantastic performance.
Coach Reba said that the performance was angelic. she talked about Carolina's wonderful voice and that she loved the tone.
"And Kirbi, there's a totally different sound timbre to your voice that is sweet, pure, and totally believable. I can't pick either one, so I'm just going to sit back adn enjoy," added coach Reba.
The Voice coach Niall Horan shared that there were a couple of steals avaialble with the coaches. So he was expecting someone to steal the artist who he didn't pick.
Further, when the show host asked Niall Horan to reveal his decision, he stated:
"By the finest of margins, if even the winner of this battle...is Kirbi."
In his private confession, Niall Horan shared that he wished he had two saves. He mentioned that he really struggled to make a decision. While Kirbi's performance gave him the level of emotion that he was looking to, she chose her.
Soon, the show host announced that Carolina was avaialble to steal, Snoop Dogg pushed the buzzer right away. While everyone cheered for Carolina, Niall Horan went to hug Coach Snoop.
Sharing his excitement over Carolina staying in the competition, The Voice's Niall confessed to the cameras:
"The gangster Holy Ghost has spoken. I'm so happy that Snoop used his one and only steal on my Carolina Rodriguez. I did not want her to leave this competition."
Coach Snoop Dogg also shared the reason behind stealing Carolina. He noted that his steal had a whil appeal. After he felt that from Carolina, he stole her for his team. He recalled Carolina's performance throughout the season and stated that she sounded 20 times different. Coach Snoop welcomed her in his team.
