This The Righteous Gemstones ending reunion (that never happened) will now be featured in another fan-favourite sci-fi series

HBO's The Righteous Gemstones concluded its four-season run with an explosive finale that saw befitting conclusions to every character. While Kelvin, Judy, and Jesse finally found their family's gold bible, Baby Billy chose his family over fame.

Walton Goggins' Baby Billy was a breakthrough character in the HBO show, eventually becoming a fan favorite. His reconciliation storyline with Macaulay Culkin’s Harmon Freeman in Season 2 added even more depth to his character.

Harmon was Baby Billy's estranged son whom he abandoned in the 90s. In Season 2, Baby Billy finally meets up with his so,n and he even attends the Gemstones' performance at the Gemstone Salvation Center in the finale.

Since everything was alright between the father and son, fans were expecting to see Culkin again in The Righteous Gemstones Season 4 finale, but Harmon did not show up. However, Amazon Prime Video's Fallout Season 2 will see Culkin and Goggins reunite once again, but as different characters.

Harmon and Baby Billy did not reunite in The Righteous Gemstones finale

While Culkin's Harmon and Goggins' Baby Billy reconciled and solved their differences in The Righteous Gemstones Season 2 finale, seeing him in the series finale would have been good.

Throughout the show, Baby Billy has had a complicated relationship with his family, with Harmon even becoming estranged from his father. However, all his past stints to fame and attempts to prioritize his career over his family were redeemed in the series finale.

As established earlier, Baby Billy was working on his next passion project, Teenjus, a movie about teenage Jesus (Yes, this is exactly what it was). After he did not like the lead actor, Baby Billy decided to step into the actor's shoes, but he had an epiphany. In The Righteous Gemstones Season 4 finale, Baby Billy finally gave up on the production of Teenjus and decided to focus on his family.

He stops the production of his new movie and reconciles with his family. While his redemption arc was the perfect conclusion of his character's arc, Harmon's absence made it incomplete. It would have made sense to reunite Harmon with Billy Baby in the finale and finally complete his family.

The Righteous Gemstones stars Culkin and Goggins will reunite in Fallout Season 2

While fans could not see Culkin and Goggins' reunion in The Righteous Gemstones Season 4 finale, the actors will finally reunite in Fallout Season 2.

The sci-fi series will return for a sophomore chapter in December 2025, and Macaulay Culkin has been announced to join the project. While Culkin's character is still kept under wraps, he will likely cross paths with Goggins' Ghoul since he is the main character.

With the production officially wrapped on Fallout Season 2, there could soon be word on Culkin's character. For now, we know that he will play a recurring character, which means he will have more screen time than The Righteous Gemstones, where he appeared in only two episodes in Season 2.

While Baby Billy and Harmon spent very little time together in the HBO show, Culkin and Goggins have good chemistry, and it would be interesting to see the two actors together once again.

While they would be different characters and in a new setting, it would still be exciting, especially for disappointed fans who could not see them together in the HBO show's finale.
