Prime Video's Tomb Raider series is an iconic adventure that gets a far different look, being a creation of the Fleabag fame, Phoebe Waller-Bridge. The narrative is myth-laden and character-driven in a way that the movies never really had time to do.

Based on Crystal Dynamics’ Tomb Raider video games, the series features a younger, emotionally conflicted Lara as she confronts ancient conspiracies, dangerous relics, and her own legacy. While not all of the cast have been announced, a handful of important characters have, showing the key players Prime Video has lined up for the franchise.

Here are the complete cast and characters of Tomb Raider

Sophie Turner as Lara Croft

Sophie Turner stars as Lara Croft, the brilliant, physically formidable archaeologist-adventurer, around whom the show revolves. This Lara is likely to be the rebooted era, being more capable rather than untouchable, driven by curiosity and grief, and repeatedly pushed to her limits.

When she is nearly 20 years old, Lara will learn secrets from the past throughout the series, as she also struggles with the burden of her family name and the ethical ramifications of pursuing the forbidden.

Jack Bannon as Gerry

Jack Bannon plays Gerry, Lara Croft’s personal pilot and snack enthusiast. Gerry is Lara’s logistical lifeline and more than just a ride home. His character is a mood lifter on high-stakes missions and a means to blunt between-breathed moments of levity while exploring extreme destinations.

John Heffernan as David

David is a weary government agent who inadvertently becomes involved in Lara's increasingly perilous exploits. The character is an intermediary between the bureaucratic institutions and Lara's rogue methods, embodying what happens when some conventional methods are introduced into the modern world of politics.

Celia Imrie as Francine

Francine is the Head of Advancement at the British Museum and is played by Celia Imrie. The portrayal is crisp, socially graceful, and has a great fundraising experience.

Paterson Joseph as Thomas Warner

Thomas Warner is a senior government official who has been sent in to fix an institutional mess. Pragmatic, commanding, and politically astute, Thomas embodies the state’s bid to rein in the chaos Lara leaves behind.

Sasha Luss as Sasha

Sasha, portrayed by Sasha Luss, is revealed to be a fierce and highly competitive new rival for Lara Croft. Highly capable and motivated by her own desires, Sasha is a dark mirror to Lara and an individual who possesses just as many skills as Lara.

Juliette Motamed as Georgia

Juliette Motamed stars as Georgia, a pedantic, by-the-book British Museum curator. She is someone who emphasises the right way and believes that artifacts have to be kept behind glass, catalogued, and controlled. Georgia's inflexible approach to rules clashes sharply with Lara’s gut, and this is where the drama and intrigue unfold.

These are some of the cast members of Tomb Raider whose roles have been confirmed in various reports, including the official IMDb website of Tomb Raider. The fans have high expectations from the show, as the movie was also equally praised. The release date of the show is still under wraps.
