They understand that Mila wants the mask because of the immense power that it will provide her with. Lara then asks Eshu about his true identity. Hearing Lara’s question, Eshu begins to tell her about his past and his family.
He also tells her that he is the only one who can steal the power of other Orishas “without the murder part”. Eshu can also spread the power of the mask, which is helpful for Mila, so that she can spread the disease to every human on the planet. They then begin to discuss whether Mila will be taking the bair as Fig has been following them. It can be understood that things are definitely going to get quite complicated for them.
Eshu then teleports them to a place where there are many other people. These people are ready to help them. As they prepare for the final face-off with Mila, Lara gets informed that Mila’s plane is on their way. Mila arrives at the location along with many other strong teammates. Mila tells Eshu that she can end the pain he has, which is something he has always wanted. Hearing Mila’s words, Eshu opens a portal and leaves. Lara tries to stop him, but he tells her that Mila is right, he is indeed a “coward.” Mila then spreads the disease to Lara, making her body weak. It can be understood that they will not be able to fight against Mila’s powers. Right then, another portal opens, and Eshu returns along with others and takes Lara away to safety.
Lara and her team begin to plan their fight against Mila. Their fight is truly intense, each trying to overpower the other. Lara and Fig then begin to have an intense combat. Their fight ends with Lara defeating Fig and leaving her to die. On the other hand, Mila is defeated by Eshu.
It cannot be denied that the intense battle that takes place between the opponents truly leaves an impact. It is perfectly curated to capture the essence of the storyline. At the very end of this episode in Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft season 2, it is revealed that Fig is not dead. Mila is dead, so now Fig might take charge to take on Lara.
