Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft is returning with its second season on Netflix. Debuting in 2024, the show carries the adventure saga of Lara Croft, an iconic pop culture character.

We may see a fresh team-up vibe where Sam Nishimura and Lara may join hands. The duo will likely travel across continent to figure out mysteries of the artefact.

Viewers already saw Lara as someone still struggling with grief, responsibility, and the growing weight of her legacy in previous installment. Season 2 builds further upon this already exciting premise.

Season 2 of Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft traces Lara as she discovers a trail of stolen African Orisha masks. These masks are not just accessories but carry immense value with them. When they go missing, Lara is launched into another adventure, travelling across multiple continents.

Sam Nishimura, Lara’s best friend joins her in the journey. Karen Fukuhara brings Sam to life with powerful voice acting. The duo is central to the developing story of season 2. Sam offers gravity while Lara faces challenges that constantly test her loyalty, and willingness.

Getting acquainted with Orisha history, they learn how every mask holds a secret. The discoveries made during the mystery hunt lead them to forces that are ancient and strange.

The relics are not just objects of myth; they are potent with divine energy. Due to this highly potent nature of the artefact, stakes go up. But, another part of Season 2's story is formed by the clash between Lara and a billionaire who wants to possess the mask before anybody else.

Earlier, the Lara Croft movies were carried by real actors but the animated title will be carried to perfection by the voice cast. Eshu is voiced by O-T Fagbenle. Allen Maldonado gives voice to Zip. Earl Baylon breathes life into Jonah Maiava.
