Too Hot To Handle: Spain premiered on Netflix on June 13, 2025. The Spanish edition of the Netflix reality show featured participants arriving at the experiment and facing Lana. She is the virtual assistant who keeps an eye on all the cast members and their activities.

As fans already know, participants on the show are not allowed to engage in physical intimacy. Even though some of them get themselves into such a situation, the price pot continues to decrease as a punishment.

Too Hot To Handle: Spain Episode 2: Jose shares his frustration regarding the lack of physical intimacy because of Lana's rules

Recently aired Too Hot To Handle: Spain Episode 2 saw Jose paired with Nerea. As the second episode began, it showed an intimate scene involving Jose with a female participant while showering.

Sharing more context about how things led up to that intimate scene, Lana showed what happened in the second episode of the show. Before the female participants arrived, male contestants were discussing physical intimacy.

One of them, Jose, shared with everyone:

"I like to touch myself every night, man."

Too Hot To Handle: Spain star also shared in the confessional about how he "hated" these rules. Soon, female contestants arrived and chose their spots and the male participants they wanted to be with.

Multiple contestants stated that they won't be able to control themselves and that they would lose money.

"I'm really gonna struggle with this whole no s*x thing," confessed Jose.

The next morning, many of the contestants confessed to how they had been resisting themselves, and how hard it had been. As everyone woke up, Lana shared:

"I'm sure they've been building strong emotional connections all night long. I mean, we already know that you've been playing with..."

Lana showed an open c**dom packet on the nightstand by Jose and Nerea's bed.

"C**doms? I mean, is that an open c**dom packet...on Jose and Nerea's nightstand?" asked Lana.

For the day, Lana shared some advice with contestants. She said they could "look" but couldn't "touch." She also wished the participants a day of s*xual fasting. Nerea confessed to the cameras that a "nice day" would be filled with s*x.

That morning, some of the male contestants were working out and discussing the lack of intimacy and rules.

"I really didn't sign up for this. I mean, sure, money is important to me, but I need to have s*x. I love s*x. I thought I was gonna have a great time here, but they ruined it. I didn't know what I was getting into," said the Too Hot To Handle: Spain star Jose.

He then confessed to the cameras how the situation was "really f*cked up" and how he was "struggling." Fellow male contestants advised Jose to keep his "cool" and be "chill." They also told him to think about the "money" as it was "lots of money."

However, as Jose told them, he "cared" about the money, but at night, he turns into "something else."

"I don't know how I'm going to handle it," confessed Lana.

Fellow contestant Luis also confessed to the cameras about his issues. He mentioned he couldn't go two days without physical intimacy.

"I'm gonna try to break the rules every night. Nerea's gonna have her hands full with me," Jose confessed.

Jose added that his trip "backfired" on him "quite literally." He mentioned that because of the lack of physical intimacy, he was "really upset."
