Check out the top five Sydney Sweeney TV shows ranked from the most popular to the least.

Euphoria

In Euphoria, which was released in 2019, Sydney Sweeney plays Cassie Howard, a teenager in East Highland, California. The show portrays the lives of the teenagers in East Highland, their relationships, problems, and how they deal with them.

Sweeney's character, Cassie, lives with her mother and younger sister Lexie. Their father left them when the sisters were young, which has heavily affected Cassie and her relationship with men. She is friends with the other female protagonists of the show, and her best friend is Maddie.

Cassie is often overs*xualized and struggles with her dating life. In season one, Cassie dates Christopher McKay, but this does not last long. In season two, Cassie spirals and has a secret fling with Nate Jacobs, Maddie's abusive ex-boyfriend. When this secret is revealed, it sends shockwaves among her friend group and family, eventually leading to Cassie's mental health worsening. Sweeney is returning as Cassie in season three of Euphoria, which is currently in production. You can stream Euphoria on Max.

The White Lotus

The White Lotus, the HBO show, sets each of its seasons in a different White Lotus hotel and its guests. The first season was released in 2021, which featured the White Lotus hotel in Hawaii. The guests featured in the show were the Mossbacher family (parents Nicole and Mark and children Quinn and Olivia and Olivia's friend Paula), Tanya McQuoid, Shane Patton and his wife Rachel, and Greg.

Sydney Sweeney played Olivia Mossbacher, the eldest child and daughter of Nicole and Mark Mossbacher. She was a sophomore in college and was visiting Hawaii with her family and friend Paula. We see how she and her family represent privilege, and we also see her judge others who aren't as high-class as her. Olivia is suspicious of Paula's suspicious activity throughout the season, which keeps her on edge.

The season ends with a death (not of Olivia), Tanya finding love, and Belinda (a staff member at the resort) getting abandoned by Tanya, who had promised to help her open her spa. While the show has just wrapped up its third season, Sweeney's performance is still one of the most noteworthy in the history of the show.

The Handmaid's Tale

Sydney Sweeney played Eden Blaine, a young woman who is married off to Nick Blaine as a child bride in The Handmaid's Tale. She appears as a recurring character in season two of the show.

The Handmaid's Tale is set in a dystopian society, formed after a Second American Civil War that dismantled democracy and established a dictatorship. America is called Gilead, and its government treats the fertile women as child-bearing machines, due to low fertility rates.

Eden is a handmaid who was raised with extremely conservative views and believes her only duty is to be a wife and bear children, but her views change a little later on. She appears in only seven episodes in the second season of the show, but her performance as a handmaid who dares to live life on her own terms is one to remember. You can stream the show on Hulu.
