CBS's action drama series Tracker Season 2 premiered on October 13, 2024.

The season wrapped up after its 20-episode run on May 11, 2025. The premiere episode, titled Out of the Past, set the tone for the season. It follows Colter Shaw investigating the disappearance of a family from Arkansas. Elsewhere, Reenie finally gets to open her new law firm, and Velma helps her to set it up.

The series is based on the protagonist Colter Shaw, a survivalist who, with the help of impeccable skills, tracks down missing people/items in return for rewards. It is based on Jeffrey Deaver's book The Never Game.

Tracker is unlike regular crime procedural shows, which involve police or detectives hunting down criminals. In this series, Colter is bound by no rules or departments; he's answerable to none. He often operates in gray areas, and that unpredictable nature keeps the viewers hooked. While most procedurals balance the crime plot with ensemble chemistry, Tracker is deeply character-driven around Colter.

1) Justin Hartley plays Colter Shaw

Justin Harley plays the protagonist, Colter Shaw, the lone wolf survivalist and expert tracker. Colter isn't your standard TV detective; he's more of a reward seeker and might at times operate in grey areas. In Season 2 episode 1, he takes on a missing family case.

2) Fiona Rene plays Reenie Greena

Fiona Rene plays Reenie, Colter's sharp-witted lawyer and closest confidante. In Tracker Season 2 Episode 1, Reenie opens her own law firm, which gives the character new independence.
