Each passing episode is bringing forth more and more complications for Justin Hartley’s Colter Shaw, as can be seen in Tracker Season 3. It cannot be denied that Colter definitely solves the issues that he comes across using his intellect without the help of anyone. However, seeing his work with a team member handling the issues by bringing forth double the power definitely makes a thrilling storyline.
Amongst the many people that Colter worked with, his dynamic with Keaton, the retired police officer, definitely left quite an impact. Keaton, helmed by Brent Sexton, handled the complications that came their way with ease. So, now the TV show is bringing him back for Tracker Season 3.
Keaton is coming back in Tracker Season 3
In Tracker Season 3, Brent Saxon’s Keaton will be teaming up with Colter once again for a new case. Keaton will arrive in Episode 9 of this season. This new situation in which Colter and Keaton will be working is the disappearance of Keaton’s former partner.
Keaton will ask Colter to help him find this person. Though the case seemed to be easy on the surface, the two of them would soon find out that there were dangers lurking behind it all. Right after they join hands to look for this person, they come across a “trail of bodies” hinting at a deeper “conspiracy” than they were prepared for. This will bring back the intense duo of Colter-Keaton as they navigate through the new developments. This episode of Tracker Season 3 will air on December 14.
Colter and Keaton’s dynamic in the sixth episode of Season 2 set the stage for anticipation about seeing the two of them together once again. In Season 2 Episode 6, Colter, while tracking a case of missing hikers, comes across Keaton. Colter’s distinct nature quickly becomes a driving factor in the growing bond between the two of them.
Keaton understood Colter’s abilities and respected him. The two of them join hands to dive into the case together. It cannot be denied that Brent Sexton’s performance in this episode depicted that he could become the perfect partner for Colter in the series. It is truly a great decision by the creators to bring him in Tracker Season 3.

Justin Hartley perfectly captures the depth of Colter’s character in a nuanced manner. He completely embodies the role by bringing forth the emotions that Colter goes through in a realistic manner.
