"Transitional year for me" - Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard on potential exit from the show

Lindsay Hubbard from Summer House might be leaving the show. However, there is no official confirmation yet. During the finale episode, which was recently released, fans saw her contemplate her future and whether she wants to continue on the Bravo series.

Limdsay has been a Summer House staple since 2017. She started coming to the Hamptons and has appeared in every season since then. However, she recently gave birth to a baby girl named Gemma, and now, things have changed in her personal life. She feels as if living in a shared house with a kid might not be possible for her.

During the Summer House season 9 finale, Lindsay was seen talking to Danielle Olivera and Kyle Cooke at the summer party. The three soon got into talking about their future and how they feel.

Danielle says that she feels like it is the end now. However, Limdsay denies by saying that it does not feel like an end to her. But Danielle was adamant. She even called Lindsay "delulu" for suggesting that this is not the end now.

For Danielle to feel this way, there were clues throughout the season dropped by Lindsay. She was pregnant and then going through the emotions of it all. During the episode, she said,

"I’m in the process of going through an identity crisis. Think about it: This is a huge transitional year for me. Like becoming a mom is a huge transition in and of itself."

Will Lindsay Hubbard leave Summer House after the season 9 finale?

Lindsay has not officially confirmed a potential exit just yet. However, viewers feel this way because now, her responsibilities have increased. When she started out on the Summer House in the Hamptons, she was working in PR. Right now, she is a full-time influencer and manages her property in Nashville.

Talking about how living in the house, shared with other members, might not be feasible for her anymore. She said,

"It’s not like I can live in a party/share house, right? So, like, what does that mean? I don’t know. How am I going to make my money? I don’t f—king know. Where do I go from here?”

Thus, this was a confusing moment for viewers as, on the one hand, Lindsay suggested that it might not be feasible for her to live with a kid at the Hamptons but on the other hand, even though Lindsay is an influencer, a major chunk of her income comes from appearing on the show. This is what confused her regarding the future.

Danielle, who understood Lindsay's feelings, reassured her, saying everything would be fine. She said,

"It’s a beginning for you, and everyone’s next chapter looks different, and that’s okay."
