"Transport": Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking hosts reveal the magical new theme for episode 2

Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking Season 2 Episode 2 aired on November 9, 2025. Based on the theme for the latest episode, the bakers prepared delicious desserts. The participants were asked to make transportation-inspired items and prepare English desserts.

There were six remaining teams, and the guest judge for the episode was Devon Murray. He joined the show's regular judges Jozef Youssef and Carla Hall. Before the challenge was revealed, the show hosts, James and Oliver Phelps, talked about various exciting themes.

Later, the two revealed what all the bakers had been waiting for. James and Oliver shared that the theme was transport. Hence, each of the teams would receive particular instructions regarding their unique transportation-related dessert making.

"We're here to get things moving. "Moving" being the operative word. Because this fine-looking triple-decker night bus is just one of the many magical ways to navigate through the world of Harry Potter. So if you want to get your sticky mitts on the trophy, for your next challenge, you'll need to bake a showpiece inspired by the theme: Transport," revealed the hosts.

As the remaining teams of bakers walked in, the show hosts, James and Oliver, invited them. Soon, the two wore conductor hats, after which Oliver mimicked:

"Welcome to the night bus, emergency transport for stranded bakers. My name is Oliver Phelps and this is my brother James, and we will be your conductors for the evening."

Food Network describes the latest Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking Season 2 Episode 2 as:

"In front of the Knight Bus, James and Oliver Phelps ask the remaining six teams to make transportation-inspired showpieces that incorporate classic English desserts; guest Devon Murray joins Judges Carla Hall and Jozef Youssef."

Soon, the hosts talked about the iconic Knight Bus from Harry Potter. They noted that the triple-decker knight bus was one of the many magical ways to explore Harry Potter's world. They noted that the theme for the episode was transport.

To prepare the desserts according to each team's specific instructions, they had six hours.

"You have six hours to contour up a creation that traverses the amazing world of Harry Potter," added the hosts.

Soon, Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking teams arrived at the baking area, and the teams received their respective instructions for the challenge. Each of the teams was assigned a particular transport-related dessert task. Some of them were:

• Hagrid's Motor Bike,
• The Knight Bus,
• The Vanishing Cabinet,
• The Red Telephone Box,
• The Weasley's Flying Car,
• The Whiteall Underground Public Toilets.

For the Knight Bus theme, one of the Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking teams was supposed to make:

"A purple, triple-decker delight. Able to squeeze through even the tightest of traffic jams. All aboard! Tickets please."

Another theme was:

"The Red Telephone Box is your transportational inspiration. A secret gateway for visitors into The Ministry of Magic. Just dial 62442 AKA "Magic" for entry."

One of the teams, Jenny and Alex, couldn't stop laughing about their theme. It was The Whiteall Underground Public Toilets. After each of the six teams received their instructions for the challenge, they got started with their designs.
