This series delves into the life of Lana Washington, a former military bomb disposal operative (EXPO). Lana now leads the bomb squad and, with her impeccable skills and talented team, helps unravel crimes and bomb threats in London. Owing to its popularity, the show has already been renewed for a fourth season ahead of the Season 3 premiere.

Vicky McCure as Lana Washington

Vicky McCure is all set to reprise her role as the protagonist Lana Washington. Lana's a bomb disposal operative who previously worked in the military. She's a perfectionist, she's strong and bright, but at times, the strongest ones falter, too. In Trigger Point Season 3, we might see her fighting her inner demons. In previous seasons, she has experienced various losses, which have emotionally affected her. Speaking to Radio Times, producer Jed Mercurio noted,

"It's important that we show the toll the job takes on expos. There are consequences and there's loss, which all create a really interesting psychological challenge for Lana."

While McCure pointed out,

"We are going to be dealing with PTSD, plus she's struggling with tinnitus and she is relying on medication to get her through."
