April and her family’s horrifying experience in True Haunting

After April got pregnant at a very young age, her struggles began. Coming from a conservative family, she knew she had no one to support her. So, she began struggling with her two children by working day and night. After a few years, she came across Matt and fell in love with him. The two of them decide to begin a family together. Soon, they decided to move to a bigger house to accommodate their two children properly.

Matt found a run-down house in a posh neighbourhood. As he was already aware of the repair works, he decided to rebuild the house properly. When April and her kids saw the house, they were instantly drawn to it. However, right when they moved into the house, things began to get complicated. In the episodes of True Haunting, the interview explains the experiences that April and her family went through in proper detail. Right after they moved into the house, they began to face paranormal activities.

One such incident was when April’s son, Shane, was swinging too high. When April asked about it, he admitted that the swing was pushed by Benjamin. Hearing an unknown person’s name initially did not raise concern in Aprill as she thought it to be Shane’s imaginary friend. However, soon things began to get serious. Shane began to experience nightmares on a daily basis, during which he would wake up and hyperventilate.

There was a bathtub in the house which, even when they tried to remove they could not. They also began hearing voices through the house, which began to raise their concern. April had no other choice but to seek help from her mother, who also experienced a dangerous experience in the house. Things were getting too serious for them to be overlooked. Eventually, April and Matt decide to do a sage cleansing to remove the negative energy from the house.

They also find horrifying secrets that the house had. In the past, the house was inhabited by a man named Benjamin. Benjamin lived with his children and wife. He used to torture his wife and children and even burned his children alive. During the sage cleansing, Benjamin tried to create a hindrance, but eventually, the sage cleansing was effective in solving the situation.

There is a distinct exploration of the experiences that the family went through in True Haunting. It gives us a clear picture of what they went through. The psychological torment that they went through left a lasting impact on their minds. April and her family eventually had to move away from the house.

The shadow that their experience cast on them was too much for them to overlook. True Haunting is the type of docuseries that gives a proper and realistic picture of the horrifying experience of real people. It enhances the thrilling aspect manifold.
