NBC has already brought forth many interesting TV shows, and Truth will now likely be yet another great addition. This new TV show will feature the journey of a man striving to find the truth behind people’s deaths. The storyline brings life to the story of the first Black chief medical examiner, Dr. Roger Mitchell, Jr. The depiction of Dr. Roger Mitchell Jr.’s story promises to be engaging in this upcoming series.

NBC is set to dive into the story of Dr. Roger Mitchell, Jr., through Xavier “Truth” Hall. Xavier “Truth” Hall is the youngest chief medical examiner. He uses his intellect to solve cases while examining deceased bodies. For him, the dead bodies become the source of complex questions that remain unsolved.

With the information he gathers after examining the dead bodies, he can help families searching for answers behind the deaths of their loved ones. The information he collects may also have applications beyond the cases themselves, especially in addressing public health concerns. The storyline of this NBC series is promising and may provide a fresh perspective on the life of Dr. Roger Mitchell, Jr.

Blackmaled Productions helms the production of Truth. Malcolm D. Lee takes on the crucial role of executive producer, along with Dallas Jackson and David Marshall Grant. The people who helm a TV show are as important as the cast and storyline.

In this case, Dallas Jackson, David Marshall Grant, and Malcolm D. Lee each bring a strong track record to the series. Malcolm D. Lee’s notable projects include The Best Man Holiday (which he wrote, directed, and produced), Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins, The Best Man, Barbershop: The Next Cut, Space Jam: A New Legacy, Harlem, The Best Man: The Final Chapters, and Wu-Tang: An American Saga.

Dallas Jackson, known for his work on Rebel, Thriller, Welcome To Sudden Death, and more, takes on a key creative role in this series. His contribution is expected to enhance the storyline significantly.
