A quick recap of Tulsa King Season 3 Episode 8

Tulsa King Season 3 Episode 8 was titled "Nothing Is Over" and saw a new alliance form against Dwight. The Watchmaker Deacon approaches Jeremiah at his estate and wishes to work with him instead, as he believes that the General is untrustworthy. While Margaret is attending the guests at Carl Thresher's campaign event, Deacon disguises himself as a handyman and drops a bomb at the hotel, unnoticed.

Elsewhere, after Dwight presses Agent Musso, he finally reveals his past with Deacon. Dwight discovers that Deacon killed Musso's partner and 20 civilians, which is why Musso wants to bring him to justice. While Dwight wants to follow violence, Musso convinces him to wear a wire in front of Deacon and extract a confession out of him. However, Dwight double-crossed Musso and kidnapped Deacon from right under his nose.

In the final moments of the episode, Spencer learns about the bomb in the hotel (from Cole) and warns Dwight. While he manages to save Margaret and Carl in time, Mitch suffers a blow as the building blows up and is sent to the hospital in an ambulance.

The penultimate episode will feature an appearance by Samuel L. Jackson's Russell Lee Washington Jr. The preview shows Russell arriving at a bar to meet with Dwight Manfredi, calling him a 'ghost' from his past. While Russell will be sent to kill his old friend in Tulsa, the former convict will take an instant liking to his power and empire and will take a different path.

The next episode of Tulsa King Season 3 is gearing up to establish Jackson as the protagonist of his own and upcoming spin-off, NOLA King. It will be interesting to see how Dwight reacts to Russell's appearance after many years.

Additionally, Tulsa King Season 3 Episode 9 will likely dive into the aftermath of the explosive events from the previous episode, as Dwight’s crew faces the consequences of the deadly blast. Fans can look forward to a gripping penultimate episode that paves the way for a highly anticipated and intense season finale.
