Tulsa King is officially on its way to return with a third season, bringing Sylvester Stallone back as Dwight 'The General' Manfredi in the latest chapter of this Taylor Sheridan drama.
Since its inception, the show followed Stallone's character as he tried to build his criminal empire, while being left to live in Tulsa, Oklahoma, after being released from prison. This mob drama has been one of Paramount's most popular projects, and in its third season, there will be some interesting dynamics at play between Dwight and Special Agent Musso.
Kevin Pollak, who plays Musso in the show, recently spoke with ScreenRant about the handler-informant relationship between Musso and Dwight, and how it impacts their professional bond. Pollak said,
"Well, rather than being a bit dry, the relationship ends up being a little Tom and Jerry. They are adversarial, but also they love to give each other grief. I don’t know. That’s as clean of a version I have to say with that relationship."
He also added,
"Yeah. We go at each other verbally in what ends up being a rather humorous way. Neither will give an inch."
