Turn of the Tide Season 2 begins its journey three months after Eduardo's unsuccessful attempt to flee to America, which ends with him being deported following the Coast Guard's raid.

Upon returning to Rabo de Peixe, he is shocked by how much the place has changed. The cocaine shipment that was previously the source of power for him and his friends is now gone, and Sílvia is the one who runs the operation. Her takeover alters the power dynamics, putting her in direct competition with Eduardo.

Turn of the Tide Season 2 highlights the group's crushing attempts to transfer the cocaine while the Italian cartel that originally owned it puts increasing pressure on them. The cartel deploys Ofélia and Fagner as envoys to reconquer what they deem to be theirs. All the while, Detective Frias tightens the police raid, and the characters are surrounded on all fronts.

The events that befall the Turn of the Tide Season 2 reveal to us the dark consequences of the trade in drugs and its detrimental effect on friendships, family life, and individual fate. Eduardo is in for the rough ride of his life since he has to deal with the implications of his actions, which have already rendered him estranged from his family. He becomes increasingly entangled in the struggle to escape the cycle of violent altercations.

Carlinhos is struggling with his addiction, and Sílvia is grasping her newfound power in the midst of the peril of the rivalries that can destroy her at any moment. And on top of all that, the unexpected arrival of Rafael brings still another element of dramatic and emotional tension.

The season is concluded by the imprisonment and arrest of Eduardo, and it will be vitally important to all the characters. Furthermore, the introduction of fresh political adversaries lends the climactic conclusion to the season finale and prepares the ground for Season 3, which could explore more revenge, corruption, and turmoil in the already tumultuous world of Turn of the Tide.
