The fifth episode of Twelve opens with a dramatic sequence: the angels are desperately racing against time to save Geum-woo from the evil spirits. In this scene, Do-ni drinks a potion from Bang-wool.
The potion transforms Do-ni into a speedy, fiery figure capable of dodging attacks and hitting with great speed. Despite the angels, Bang-wool, and Mirr joining forces, the battle is quite difficult, as they are up against a dozen of the larger evil spirits, led by Sa-min.
Things then become even worse in episode 5 of Twelve when Sa-min arrives on the scene and knocks Mirr unconscious. While this happens, the evil spirits find the last Soul Stone. This event is huge, especially for Sa-min.
They are one step closer to implementing their evil plan. This scene emphasizes the great danger that Sa-min truly is, while also prompting the heroes on an important journey to confront their own limitations.
Twelve Episode 5 recap: The angels create strategies to fight evil, and emotional flashbacks appear
Back at headquarters in episode 5 of Twelve K-drama, the angels get together to learn about Mirr's and Bang-wool's attacks. Concern and uncertainty exist across them, mainly because of Ma-rok taking full control of the situation and preventing Tae-san from confronting Sa-min.
This forced the angels to think of alternate methods while feeling helplessness and a lack of action without powers and control. Meanwhile, Mirr starts experiencing dreams of being with Ogwi, which makes the situation feel even more surreal and confusing to the angels.
She was the one who saw the angels dying in a vision, and now her dreams even include Ogwi. This makes her feel more pressure and worried about her team, and then she once again faces Sa-min.
It is not only about Mirr and Sa-min, but also the challenge to the angels' ineffectiveness because they are daunted by their own thoughts and actions as Sa-min becomes stronger and stronger.

Rituals, memories, and a turning point for Ogwi in Twelve Episode 5

The climax in episode 5 of Twelve takes place on a ritual block, with Ogwi wrestling with his emotions and deciding not to harm Mirr, exposing his internal struggle of duty versus love. Meanwhile, Ma-rok is also taking action without informing the rest of the angels and is now heading towards Sa-min's chamber alone.
As the ritual begins, Ogwi commences his flashbacks with Mirr, which is so overwhelming that he collapses, and Sa-min continues to absorb Ogwi's remaining powers. The ritual succeeds, and Sa-min immediately confronts Ma-rok as he reignites Haetae's powers.
The flashback scene in Twelve episode 5 reveals that Mirr and Ogwi loved each other deeply, but Ogwi's actions led Ma-rok to lock him inside the rock. But before that, Mirr wanted to save him, and Ma-rok had to erase memories of Ogwi from her mind.
This is the reason why Mirr is having dreams about him. They were lovers, and Ogwi remembers everything. In the present, he recalls how worried she was to lose him and gave it all to protect him.
