Twisted Metal Season 2 Episode 4 aired on August 7, 2025, and took the story to Diesel City. John and Quiet infiltrated the elite Insiders by pretending to be one of them, while Dollface worked separately to break into a weapons vault. Sweet Tooth tried to bypass the city's strict no-violence rules with a disguise and crossed paths with Dollface. Stu, meanwhile, was captured by the Insiders and exploited for their amusement.
John and Quiet enter Diesel City by posing as “Insiders” to gain access to a weapons vault hidden beneath a high-security facility. Diesel City operates under strict no-violence laws and maintains a class structure that separates the elite from common citizens.
As fake Insiders, John and Quiet are given access to luxury spaces, including private events where rules are loosely enforced behind closed doors. Their mission is to distract the city’s security forces while Dollface works from the outside to disable vault systems.
The two of them try to act natural in front of Diesel City’s wealthy crowd, but their discomfort with luxury and privilege makes it difficult. Still, they manage to attend a party where they are expected to mingle without drawing suspicion. Their real goal is to break into the weapons storage while the event is underway.
Using Stu’s unexpected involvement as a distraction, they sneak off to complete their mission. But instead of staying focused, they become distracted by their attraction to each other and lose control of the situation. Their failed infiltration leads to unintended consequences, including a fire that derails the operation and causes chaos across the facility before anyone can stop it.
Twisted Metal Season 2 Episode 4: Sweet Tooth finds a loophole in Diesel City’s no-violence rule

In Twisted Metal Season 2 Episode 4, Sweet Tooth buys a cape in Diesel City to get around the city’s anti-violence surveillance system. Diesel City enforces peace through internal tracking and alerts that prevent open fights or attacks.
To work around the system, Sweet Tooth wears a cape that obstructs movement sensors, allowing him to attack without being detected. While testing his plan, he crosses paths with Dollface, who is also working to open the weapons vault. Their interaction turns into an uneasy team-up. Sweet Tooth doesn’t fully trust her but recognizes she’s useful.
They agree to keep out of each other’s way while operating in the same area. Sweet Tooth continues using the cape to attack quietly and gather attention without raising alarms. Meanwhile, Dollface handles her own tasks, focusing on vault access and staying out of the party where John and Quiet are located. Sweet Tooth’s presence adds a layer of unpredictability to the mission.
He is not aligned with any specific group but uses the situation to create his own chaos while staying under Diesel City’s radar. The cape allows him to commit isolated acts of violence without triggering the city’s automated security response, which keeps his movements hidden until he’s ready to go public.
Twisted Metal Season 2 Episode 4: Stu is captured by Insiders and put on display at the party

In Twisted Metal Season 2 Episode 4, Stu is taken away by Diesel City’s elite and brought into their private event as a party prop. The Insiders treat him as a novelty, dressing him up and putting him on display as part of their entertainment.
Diesel City’s upper class enforces a strict divide between themselves and Outsiders, and Stu’s treatment highlights how extreme that divide is. He is given no choice in the matter and is paraded around for laughs and humiliation. Meanwhile, John and Quiet use this opportunity as cover to slip away and reach the weapons vault. Stu has no idea he’s helping with their mission.
He’s mostly reacting to what’s happening around him, but it buys them enough time to reach their target location. However, while John and Quiet get distracted, Stu takes control of the situation. He breaks free once things start falling apart at the event.
Armed with weapons from the vault, he uses the chaos around him to strike back at the Insiders who held him captive. This marks a shift in his character. Until now, Stu has been passive, but this moment gives him power and lets him act without permission or guidance. His actions have direct consequences by the end.
Twisted Metal Season 2 Episode 4: The vault is breached, but things don’t go according to plan

In Twisted Metal Season 2 Episode 4, John and Quiet successfully reach the vault, but they fail to collect the weapons because they get distracted. After sneaking into the restricted area, they find the S-tier weapons they were sent to retrieve.
However, instead of securing the items, they let the moment overwhelm them and become physically involved with each other. Their personal tension finally breaks, and it leads to a scene that causes more damage than they intended.
In the process of losing focus, they accidentally start a fire that spreads quickly through the vault chamber. The situation escalates beyond their control. In the confusion, Stu arrives and sees the weapons cache unguarded. He gathers everything he can and escapes with the arsenal. Meanwhile, John and Quiet are left dealing with the fallout of their mistake.
The fire destroys parts of the facility and disrupts the power systems, making it impossible for Dollface to complete her part of the plan. The mission was meant to give them a tactical advantage, but it ended with none of them walking away with what they intended. Instead, Stu ends up with all the weapons, and the others are forced to regroup before heading to the next phase of their journey.
