What can you expect from Twisted Metal Season 2?
Twisted Metal Season 2 will feature the most anticipated battle for all video game fans, a sinister demolition derby vehicular-tournament, which can grant any one wish for the winner. Leaving his mysterious quest and confused road-delivery man role behind, John Doe will be seen in a new avatar, as he races against time and many other dangerous competitors to get one shot at a richer and less violent life.
With his Season 1 partner Quiet, John also aims to find answers about his pre-apocalypse life after the major revelation in the finale. After John struggled to piece together his amnesiac memories about his life before the apocalypse, he realised that his long-lost sister, Dollface, is still alive.
While he was held at gunpoint and forced to join the high-octane competition by Calypso, Twisted Metal Season 2 will open new opportunities for the duo, as they will rush against the other competitors to get their one wish granted. While the situation sounds tempting, it will be filled with dangers at every stop, and John will face a host of post-apocalyptic lunatics from Season 1, including the Killer clown, Sweet Truth.
In an interview with TV Line, showrunner Smith previews the upcoming season:
“This season is packed with fast-paced action, hysterical moments, and thrilling twists, all anchored by unforgettable characters. Unfortunately, not everyone will make it out alive.”
