The show has not only been popular for its two seasons, but it has also opened doors for its cast members. As News1 (via Anime News Network) reports, two Squid Game stars have joined the cast for All of Us Are Dead season two.

Squid Game became a global phenomenon due to its complex plotline and layered characters. Season one of the show begins in South Korea, where Seong Gi-hun, a debt-ridden gambler, joins a competition in which he has to play deadly games to win a huge cash prize. But he isn't the only player; there are 455 other desperate contestants.
The competition is guarded by masked enforcers and led by the mysterious Front Man. Players soon learn that losing means death, with each death increasing the cash prize. Gi-hun teams up with others, including a childhood friend and a defector, while a detective infiltrates the game as a guard to find his brother.
In season two, Gi-hun was seen re-entering the game to destroy it, challenging the Front Man's views. In season three, the games are expected to become deadlier as we get to see betrayals and hidden agendas being revealed among the players and organizers.
All of Us Are Dead, which was first released in 2022, is based on the webtoon of the same name byJoo Dong-geun. The show takes us to Hyosan, where in a school, a failed experiment by a science teacher causes a zombie outbreak. The students then have to fight the ones infected and survive this deadly situation.
All of Us Are Dead was renewed for a second season in June 2022, but it has taken quite some time to return for the second season. There hadn't been much news about the upcoming season till now. However, as per the reports by News1 (via Anime News Network), two actors who were cast in Squid Game, Si-eun Kim and Roh Jae-won, have joined the cast of All of Us Are Dead season two.

In Squid Game, Si-eun Kim played Kim Young-mi, who was Player 095, and Jae-won Roh played Nam-gyu, who was Player 124. Kim Young-mi died in season two, but Nam-gyu remains alive and will be returning in season three.
As to what we might see in All of Us Are Dead season two, the show's director told HypeBeast KR:
“The story itself was set with season 2 in mind, so if season 2 comes out, it might be a little more interesting and expanded story.”
He added further:
“If Season 1 was a survival period for humans, there is a sense of humor, but Season 2 feels like it will be a survival period for zombies.”
Squid Game season three arrives on Netflix on 27th June 2025, and All of Us Are Dead season one is streaming on Netflix.
